Huh?  I don't recall disabling anything to do with attaching pictures.  In fact I've done that before in one of the private forums.  I'll take a look. 

Edit: Uh, okay, so for some reason they weren't enabled (except for admins, for whom nothing can be disabled, apparently).  It should work now, I think.  If not, you could always post the pictures on another site and use bbcode to display them.

Okay well you learn something new everyday.  I honestly had never heard of easter eggs as in the aforementioned term.  Its different...and I like different.  See this just goes to show I do not spend enough time on the Dev Board.  Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me.

When designing my swift shield I originally wanted it to be called snake shield because its swift and sly like a snake but it got rejected so I just named it Swift shield.

That's more something of a metaphor than an easter egg I'd say, Colossuem. Easter eggs go a bit beyond that.

Ok, let's collect some other funny things in here, so that we can make a page at some point where one can read all kinds of funny stuff concerning development, be it funny mishaps, in-jokes or deliberate easter eggs. So I put some things together here to have them available for later use:

* Elven Birthday
The birthday calendar (bottom of main page) informs us very precisely:
Letitia De Lockhart (14), Wordsmith Syrelm (15), Quaélh'Orín (276) ... lol

* Dev Slang
'Aran Status'
'Uri-check'
'copperbards'
'Artimidating'
'Dala-ducks'
'Judyfication'
'Deciphered' sounds also funny... lol

The "Coren" as a measure for entry length... (after the uploading of the Dragon's Back entry) with the average place entry regitering at 0.5 coren , and a very simple animal/plant at " 0.1C' "

* The Beatles are alive!
- A "gem" I've found in Zacheius' Bavereye entry (this gem BTW actually features something that is called a "gem"). Here it si:
"Some scholars have stated that the beatles do not sleep at all..."
Now this would explain that John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr are seen by many as immortals!

* Ganinon's Quwish, the wish-stealer
