Hello all,
           I'm Patrick Reade and I'm 13 and I came across this website in a search for a fantasy role play game. I am a total book worm and I read in alot of my spare time. Why it was only today that I went to town and came back with at least 7 books.

          With all the stories in my head, they all mingled to geather to produce new stories, this lead to me starting wrighting stories. After the first few chapters, I began to lose interest in the story and forget what should happed next.

          Now with, Santharia, I can contribute to the making of a world, without hafting to do it all myself. Also, it allows me to just work on the areas I'm most interested in such as the "beastery" and "races and tribes". This is, if you accept me into you community.

It's update time (so I am busy at the moment, Tina), plus its holiday time for most as well. Weekend also keeps people away from their computers mostly, so take it easy... ;) - It's also Harry Potter 7 weekend, so maybe people have grabbed their books and are reading now until they have the last secrets revealed and drop from exhaustion... lol

Have a look around in the meantime, try to find something that you'd enjoy doing. Own tribes and races are not possible for newbies though, we try to elaborate what we have instead of letting completely new things appear out of nowhere. So elaborating on existing tribes and characters of these tribes e.g. is recommendable, starting completely new stuff not.

At any rate: Welcome to the Dream, Tina! :)

Here are My Ideas list.

 1. Write the Dwarfen Beliefs section.
 2. Create a Dwarfen city.
 3. Create an Elf city
 4. This is the biggy. I know threre isn't one at the moment, but I thought it would fit in with the RP style. A sort of career path thing where I describe exactly what they do, what the career entries and exits are and how the career affcets the person.

My main interests are Places, cities, encapmtments and Religion is my main interest so could someone tell me who the Religion specialist is.

Or maybe she Believes averything there is to believe.. anyway, cities are quite big projects Tina, so you mgiht be asked to do a little more goundwork before having one assigned to you. Dwarven Religion is a touchy subject, be sure to check with Talia and bard Jutich before starting!

And be carefull witht he word 'RP' around here. It is important to understand that we do not, ever, at any rate, write things for the RP game. The RP may be done with our work, but we do not consider the game when writing new things...

Things have gotten moved around a bit here at the Development Board, but we do have such a list of medieval 'careers', though I wouldn't use that exact word for the day-to-day tasks of living...

Not only did I compile one years ago... (Art dear?  Where did you put that scroll?  Has someone moved the plaques around on the bookshelves again?), but a recent newbie also submitted one, with at least thirty more entries than mine.  The link is here:   http://www.santharia.com/dev/index.php?topic=4866.0, entitled 'Jobs for the Masses'.



Also, can I repeat again that you might want to do your research first at www.santharia.com to see if things you would like to develop have perchance already been developed?   If you click on the green orc face icon at the top left, you will get a list of all the races in Caelereth.  If you click on 'Dwarves' on that list, you will see everything that has been written and accepted about our Thergerim.  The FIRST entry on that sublist is 'Dwarven Beliefs', and I do think I've made a thorough covering of the subject.  Other details may be found, of course, underneath the specific clans and tribes.
