Hehe, don't worry - there is always more to learn about this world!  Although I admit, it is a steep curve at the beginning.  That's why I thought I'd reply at some length - helps you to learn, too  :)

Interesting question you put there.  It wouldn't happen often, as most of the time there would only be a few khazi which had few enough members to allow them to accept a new xau-va.  I would imagine that after determining which khazi were able to take new members, the selection would be based on the girl's abilities, and on her personality and the personalities of those already in the khazi - who she would fit well with, and how she will contribute to the kha's 'esprit de corps'.

If she would fit equally well into more than one on both these things, it would depend upon who else needed to be placed.  You would probably find that in most cases there would be another person who would only fit into one of them, and so the girl who could fit into either would just go to the one which was left over.

If this wasn't the case, the First of the bivil would probably determine which skill it would be more important for the new xau-va to focus on, or, if they were equally important, and the two Xaukyra really couldn't agree, they would probably leave it up to Seyella to decide.  Depending on the Xaukyra this could be going to consult with a Seyellan, or just flipping a silver coin.

I don't think I'd incorporate this in to the entry, because it would be so rare that the incident came up, and I think the entry is long enough without dealing with rarities! lol  But hopefully this clears it up.  The Sophronians have that very real trust in the goddess, feeling that she intervenes with them, and this would reflect in their behaviour a lot, especially in this sort of situation.

Ok, I saw that this entry still isn't marked for integration, so I've done that now. This weekend I'll finally be able to make a site update and get the next Serphelorian piece up... Then we still have language and history stuff to check again as I saw... *phew* Well, maybe I can start at least with some first history entries to already include this update. But there will be quite a lot to do as I can see...

Yay!  Good to get this up.

As to the other entries, nomenclature could go up this update if it can get some comments  pet

History, however, I think needs a lot more work, so ideas for what needs to go where are more what I am looking for there at the moment.  The Language submission needs more work too, and would benefit from a look-over from the Bard (I should probably bell-ring her).  idea

Just a note here: I'll integrate this entry with the main title of the "Order of Seyella", as this is consistent with our list of Orders we have, and the Serphelorian tribe doesn't really have an own kingdom anymore. So naming it after what it represents in the Santharian kingdom is best, I think. Of the course in the Tribes menu you will find it still under "Serphelorian Army". - That ok, Grun?

P.S. And I've found a funny passage:

Quote
They are trained constantly throughout their careers in jakatya, unarmed and armed wombat, fighting mounted and on foot, in rough terrain and in towns. They (wombats?) are trained to be able to fight using found items, and in how to survive in extreme conditions with very few resources.

Maybe "wombat" is the new term for women who do combat... Or wombats are armed in Santharia and I've just missed the entry for that! lol

Hehehe, that was just a typo - it was meant to be 'combat'.  I was a little sneaky and left it in on purpose, because I thought the idea of an armed wombat was pretty amusing...

The titles you have it under are great - that was how I envisioned it being, so thank you  :)

Any chance of the Serphelorian Nomenclature going up this weekend?
