Little tip for building lvocabulary- base it off an already made language. Eg. for all Eyelian vocab. on the site, I based it off the Cheyenne Native American language, albiet simplified. Mabye orcish could use Icelandic (old norse) or German?

Something told me you had Native American influences to your entries, Nsiki.

And thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind when I'm trying to create a word for something.

By the way, would you like me to add a few technical type details to your tattoo entry? Or would you like to do it yourself? If you want to do it yourself, just let me know what you need and I'll supply the info.

Feel free to add whatever technical details you deem necassary. I know next to nothing about the tattoing industry, but if you want to give me a little tutorial, I can work the technical stuff in too.

Oh yeah!  The Rat Brownie entry is up....so feel free to distill what you will from there to add to your body mods :)  Gratcha Swarth's notes are probably the best source of information *hands over huge towering piles of tiny Brownie-sized papers arranged in no particular order at all*

Uh, thanks Rookie......I think. *Gets jewellers eye-glass from drawer, squints, and tries to read miniscule scribblings on tiny scraps of paper*

*Does happy dance* Yay Tharoc! Get to check this one off on the list...

Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind,
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves,
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach,
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow.
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free,
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

Tharoc,

I want to get something to you for the Kaaer as well. They use body paint, not tattooing, so will that work in this chronicle?

There is a paragraph about bodypaint as well, Azhira, so yes :)

---> My Shendar do henna art (feet, hands, rarely the face), maybe I add blue though or change the colour altogether to blue, but genrally it will be like the common ones done in the Arabic lands.
Tharoc, I might add something which hints at the Serphelorian as well.

Absolutely, Az. I've included an overview of body-painting in the History section, but as yet (other than the Osther-oc) we don't seem to have anyone using it. I seem to recall Talia saying she was working on a tribe who used it, though.

So yep, go for it, Az. I look forward to seeing it. No rush just yet, though, I've still got quite a few tribes to include.

EDIT:  Talia, I posted this at the same time you posted yours! So, my memory isn't completely gone, then.

Have you done any work on the Shendar body painting yet? And I certainly wouldn't call the arabic stuff common. They are so intricate and beautiful. BTW, I'm being asked to tattoo these designs on womens feet and legs quite a lot recently. I'll post a few pics as soon as I've downloaded them off my camera, see what you think.

*sigh* I should sue. Honestly Tharoc, if you can't even spell my name right, I'm not sure I would let you poke sharp needles in my skin and inject ink. "dan" not "den".

Just kidding, easy mistake to make, I do it all the time myself. :D BTW don't forget to fix the same thing for my bawdy verses.

EDIT: Incidently, I was just looking around, and I found this entry.

Quote
There are not so many bandits in Shady Grove as it were in the days of Dragok Rodlery, who is said to have united all the bandit groups in the Shady Grove and led a small army that terrorised the Parthanul and the Marcogg fiefs, but when Dragok died, bandits turned to their old ways and divided again, some even left the bandit business and started to live a honest life again. There are three bandit groups in the Banditwoods: The Yellow Pillagers, the Red Marauders and the Blue Rippers, each of these groups wear tattoos somewhere on the body (usually beneath clothes) in the colour of their name.

I dunno how you could include this but... maybe you need an "Other" Section?

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
