Thanks for taking the time to finish it, Judy! grin - And I hope you now have a sound sleep that the story is finished... - You surely deserved it!

And a spectacular ending it brings, this forth installment, indeed! I enjoyed the conclusion very much, and the way it is written once more demonstrates what one can do with language in order to convey emotions and increase suspense. And as I already pointed out, this tale is in every way so Santharian (ending included), it always feels as if one is right there, experiencing the dwarven culture directly, as if it is the most normal thing. - Fantastic job, Judy!  thumbup Big round of applause! clap clap clap

Excellent ending, Judy. Quite honestly the best story of its kind I have read in a very long time. Well done.

Use the force, Luke.

And if that doesn't work, try switching it off and back on again.

Ok, don't forget a little intro/teaser and fix that Bruk, so that we can upload it, Judy!  cool At any rate it is marked for integration.

Yup, I'll put all the sections together, write an intro, and add any spell-checks/fixes.

Hey, does that 'Bruk/Brok' thing count as finding an error in one of my entries, Artimidor? In which case you are entitled to demand an illustration for anything you like (within reason, as you know the range of my 'skills'... :) ...  so get your requests in - my tablet is warmed up and my two new programs looking for a workout!

Well, to be exact - Irid pointed that out first (see her post on the previous page). So if an illustration was to be won, then it's Irid's call! grin

Yet, I found "candle’sdrip" in the last installment - does that count as well? lol

Anyway, there are a bunch of people already in line I guess who try to convince you to do a picture (Tharoc, Azhira has posted two ideas, and now Irid has hit the jackpot ;) ) - so if you can take care of any of those I'd be more than happy anyway :D

*sigh* finally!

How can you post it when I don't have time to read it?

I have to reread it as a whole story, just one critic : The good ending comes a bit abrupt - did you give any hints that it might come out this way? As I said, have to reread it, the giving way of the tunnel walls etc.. With this reading in pieces i was not sure, at least there was no :" Oh that was the reason for this and that what happened before and was not explainable."

Nice try, Art -     "candle'sdrip" was a deliberate neologism for 'second', seeing as they use hourcandles to measure time...   :)

Talia - yes, there should be a bit of foreshadowing - I wrote it in installments but I did know 'what was coming', so I tried to make the incidents work as erratic expressions of his undeveloped talent...   it will be easier if I put everything together as one story, too!

Hello all! It's been a minute since I poked my nose in here. Can't remember if I ever did anything useful.

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
