I love language, anyone I know will tell you that, and I must, must, MUST use this passion of mine here.

May I make a new language...? If there are any tribes, cities, anything that needs a dialect/ancient tongue, I would love to fill in the gaps... can anyone give me some suggestions?

Or, if I'm not allowed... meh. I'll do it anyway, just for the heck of it 8D

We could use help on the existing languages we're developing...the Gnome language is getting some revival right now, for example, so you can lend a hand there. Styrash (elvish) and Thergarim (dwarven) languages always need updates.

There is orcish and Kuglimz, too! Ahh! I am no language expert, so I am glad you're aboard now.  grin

They may tell you that language is a tough place to start, and indeed it is!
My tip- don't get discouraged! Look through old threads to see how the commenting process works, you're work will go through many drafts, but if you stick with it, us Santharians have a way of turning the mundane into the magical, on many levels!

I'll probably go overboard with the language development xD I just can't hold myself back.

Is there any languages which are just starting to be created? I find newer languages more fun to work with than older ones, since there's more room to expand and you can change rules etc. around instead of having to go by the old formulas.

Well, if you're patient, Rookie and I are planning to develop a more modern form of Browniin, as spoken by the current Vale Brownies. You're welcome to help there, when we start that. This is, however, a long... long, long long! term project, so you might want to delve into the Eyelian language until we get there. I believe Rookie wants to finish her masterwork first ;)

Also, there will be need of numerous rudimentary languages for the "Vikh, Faen, Morchini, Far-Easterners, Deep, Glitter, and Dark Mer (those three are mere sub-dialects), and a nice and shiny language for Zhun, so knock yourselves out!

(I have no linguistic skill whatsoever anyway :P)
