Just so you know, Nsiki, the reason I suggested you do only the Rings mountains is because by focussing on one aspect, and leaving out the people, you will be able to research more thoughrouly, and be more accurate and detailed, thereby ending with a better contribution to the Dream.

My advice still stands, that you focus on the mountains only.

Also, when you say 'barring history', that becomes difficult.  If you have looked at the maps I sent you, you will see how the history of the places shapes what they will be like now.  For example, it would be impossible for the Avennorian influence here to be ignored, in all areas but particularly if you are looking at more than just the landscape.  In the context of written history, I am referring to, for example, the events of 10330-9800 b.S., and perhaps even more to the point, of 477 b.S. and its consequent changes.

Right Grun- I was simply referring to the fact that I won't have the history tables themselves filled out yet. I'll still be doing the research.

Sorry, couldn't get here earlier, I won't be very active before Wednesday, when I get back from my vacations.

But basically I agree with Grun: Don't get lost in too many tribal details - be aware that this is a Places entry, where the landscape description, the landmarks etc. should play center role. For example having a Government section in a Places entry (unless it's a town or a kingdom) isn't really necessary. You also don't need to write a 67 page long entry for a masterwork, you can focus on the Places part entirely for now, sketch the most prominent tribes there and mention the not so prominent ones in a few sentences - and then develop other things as spin off entries after the masterwork. That should be the focus.

Concerning the Lorehold question: The Lorehold is surely a dependency of the Great Library in New-Santhala, as there are probably several more. Not everything can be researched in New-Santhala. It makes sense to have experts placed at important locations where beasts, plants, materials etc. can be observed directly, and the Lorehold most likely is one such example of a research center.

OK- rewriting now, to make this a places entry. The Kingdom entry will be following shortly.

Hello all! It's been a minute since I poked my nose in here. Can't remember if I ever did anything useful.

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
