Does it have to be tears?  Possibly a goddess has silver blood....   ;)       Hima's Essence?   Himblote?    Anicrima?   All things to play with...

All I wanted was a simple plant that grows in the snow...now I've turned Talia into a raging lore machine determined to make my tear plant into the embodiment of an obscure Icelands goddess...lol What have I done now?

Talia,

I've seen you around a bit more lately...so would you happen to have any more ideas on my plant?

Oh Azhira, I completely forgot about this sweet little plant. I will have a decision about the name of the goddess till tonight and then it can go up with no lore, you can mention where the name comes from in the overview. But you get your lore , I will dream it one night  ;).

You corrected a sentence in the first paragraph:

The most remarkable aspect of the tear frost bush are its snow white colored stalks..

I think it is
The most remarkable aspect of the tear frost bush is its snow white colored stalks,

beause it refers back to respect, so the singular form is needed. Or you set aspects in plural

The most remarkable aspects of the tear frost bush are its snow white colored stalks

Don't know, if this is possible

Just my two sans worth, Talia:

your first suggestion--"aspect" and "is"--would be the grammatically correct way of writing that sentence.

*Pokes Talia. Again. And again. And a bit more...*

 :P  heart

How about some further collaboration on my plant, dear Talia? I still want to use some Himiko lore here, but need some of the obscure, unwritten lore in your head first.  ;)

I read this, and enjoyed it very much.  I had no comments, other than "Great Entry" until I was about to bounce away, when suddenly.. du du dunnnn

If the Remusians, and possibly other Ice Tribes, know of the plants magical reagent uses, would they might want to destroy any plants they come across?  Speaking for the Remusian's, they might just as soon stomp them out if found.

Just a note that I really want to finish this! I think I'll take this plant out of the Icelands area (sorry Talia!) and give it a smaller area home exclusively in North Caael'heroth. Mixing a potentially magical plant with the Remusians wouldn't be a good idea, as Altario mentions. I think the very top edge of the Mist perhaps. I have a neat idea myth that could make this plant a rare beauty that actually thrives near the Misty areas. And no, it won't eat you either!  grin

Ready for comment! The Mists myth idea will be saved for another project.  ;)

Excellent Plant.  This is the first time I have read through this entry.  Particularly I love that it is unique and "fantasy"like.  It is not just a normal plant redescribed for Santharia. Will make for a nice illustration one of these days.

One question, how many crystal seeds does it produce.  I am trying to imagine a drawing of it.  Does it have many like a small sunflower or just a few?

+1 aura  for developing a cool plant.

Thanks Seeker! Your comments are most welcomed and appreciated. Woo aura!  heart

I imagined this flower to produce one tear only, perhaps one per year, adding to the rarity of them. The tear/seed is blown away to be seeded elsewhere for another plant. It's supposed to be a very rare plant found in certain places.

Just some minor grammatical assistance.
Quote
Spells such as lance of frost, frostbolt, or icewall can be cast by low level mages with an tear frost reagent.
All of those spells listed are proper names and should be capitalized.  I.E. Lance of Frost, Frostbolt and Icewall.

Also 'mages' should be magi, as magi is the plural form of mage.

Hope that helps you get this cleaned up for integration Azhira! :)

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.

Arti, could you maybe take a look at the RPG board? I got a message from my anti-virus program and now I can't access the column on the right with the list of current threads and the shoutbox. Thankies :)
