Well I am not really sure how or if this song could be used for the site. Yet it is an original by two of us newbs and hopefully it can fit into Caelereth somewhere. Personally I had visions of a Remusian woman singing on a cool winters night, mourning the passing of her love. Although I can write any backdrop needed for this to fit into the grand scheme of things. Other than that .... I hope you enjoy.

Listened to this over and over. Beautifully sung, and well written you two.

I think we can integrate this into Remusian society. I see it as a modern contemporary piece, and not something that has been passed down. Perhaps even influenced by a southern society. Definitely from the Sudarok region, and from the artistic community therein. Perhaps the singer can be the "rock star" of Remusian society.

@Hylph: Thanks for the praise doll! The entire content I credit to Lorek, much less 'sanguine' than many of the songs he has written. heart

@Alysse: Thanks Alysse! After listening to Judith and your entries nominated for awards, could anyone walk away with anything less than inspiration? I would love to sing more for the site, been finding it more pleasurable than writing as of late. Now if I can get Lorek to keep the tempo down from Grindcore/Metal. grin

@Altario: I would love to integrate this into Remusian society if at all possible. Yet I am open to any place on the site that the community feels it would fit. After studying the lyrics with your idea in mind the song reminds me of a Lady Fair that had somehow pleaded with her lover not to go 'insert reason'. Unable to accept the fact that she could not persuade him to stay with her, she now blames herself for the mishaps that befell him. Now so deeply does she hold onto the memories that she feels that somehow he is still with her.

Not sure if there would be much popularity for such woeful lyrics on a daily basis. Possibly the song is sang as a Remusian woman's way to subtly implore caution from their honor bound lovers? Well those are just some simple ideas but I am open to anything hun. If it continues to go in this direction, I am sure you and I will chat over the specifics.

Input always desired, ideas from other parts of the world gladly accepted.

As are the lyrics, Lorek! thumbup

Though if you sing more you should consider getting a bit of a better equipment, Twen, like a microphone etc. Maybe our other singing bards who have recorded stuff for the site like Judy, Alysse or Wren can advise on how to get rid of the background noises. Cause that's truly the main problem - this voice needs the proper environment, and it will sound even better than it already does! cool
