It's just a shorty, but you could suffer a heart attack playing it if you're easily scared... grin So brace yourself!  cool

You can't scare me, Arti! I'll try this for sure. Horror/creepy is my kind of thing!.  grin

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

That's great - though I don't know the music.  :)

Yep, always trying to get in things that were drawn specifically for Santharia to get the uniqueness of the world across. And if it's presented in an interactive way like this, the better. The bone tree fits in perfectly here. :) - Even though this module is somewhat of an exception, where I've used a lot of Thief stuff, but intentionally so.

I've been busy with some real life stuff yesterday and will lose some time due to that as well today, but I'm definitely planning on finishing the Uninvited module before the weekend. So realistically it should go up perhaps in regiuar updatze time, like Sunday evening.

We can then perhaps consider getting the next update (with your pics, Seeker) done next Sunday, so if some stuff can be approved until then, that would be helpful.

Ok, guys - it's done and ready for playing... :) You know, just as it is with movie productions, there's delay, there's a cut budget on the special effects, but hey, it's eventually there to hopefully enjoy.

Accessible, as usual, by entering Santhworld and typing START UNINVITED. It's recommended to play it at night with all the lights down, or just close the curtains to get an atmospheric plus. Don't even try to play it without the sound turned off, turn it up instead, as sound and music is the heart of the experience.

It is, as has been said, an interactive short story, so make sure to read the texts (room texts might change upon re-entering rooms etc.), there's absolutely no point in rushing through it. Shouldn't take more than half an hour or so I assume. Make sure to examine room by room and read things and just follow where the experience leads you... The whole story is, due to the fact that screenshots of Thief III have been carefully selected, fully illustrated, and some works of Santharians are guest staring here and there as well of course.

Well, just check it out - but be warned, it might get eerie....

Loved it Arti :D  The music definitely adds to the atmosphere.  Don't want to give spoilers, so I will just say great job.

I found it really great :) The interaction between sounds and pictures is brilliant, and that is really nothing easy to accomplish  thumbup A hell of a lot work you invested there. Altough I knew what was going on (you "spoiled" me too much) I still was excited while playing it.

There are a few problems that you should correct as soon as possible. I sent you a mail already.
The biggest one is that there is a way to finish the mission and skip almost the whole story.

Other than that, a really thrilling module which shows the "endless" possibilities of the program ;)

Oh dear, how did that happen??

Anyway, really sorry if that spoiled it for your, Altario - I hope it's fixed now, as I replaced the files (maybe you can check again and see if it works for you now?). However, I couldn't reproduce that behaviour with the door on my local computer for some reason.

There was a somewhat strange bug as well, Grinch, which seems to be a code problem of sorts, but I changed that somewhat now, but we'll have to look into that one in detail.

:)

Just a general thing perhaps that Grinch pointed out:

Once the game is done, don't press "Continue" too fast, as you'll see the Credits rolling then. If you're too fast with pressing ENTER you might skip that. Haven't found a proper way to change that yet, so that's why I wanted to point that out now.

(Edit:) Oh, and one more thing: If the game is over and you return to the module selection, the RETURN arrow doesn't make any sense there. It will be removed at some point, but that's a technical issue. Just don't press that button, you get into an undefined state. - I assume this might also have been what Mannix was referring to when he free Jeremy and said that he can still get into Jeremy's cell once the game is over. So just ignore that for now.

WOW!   I just finished the module - and yes, I did watch the credits, which are pretty cool themselves....  let me tell you, people, do NOT play this module late at night when you are alone in the house!  Whew!

The music makes such a difference to creating the atmosphere, as does the fact that it's fully illustrated.  Now that I see what you are trying to achieve, I think I can help out with this - creating a 3-D environment in Sketchup or something similar and taking screenshots to base illustrations on would work, or building a 'set' in Second Life and doing a machinanima run through it to catch the angles you want...

Artimidor, awesome plot!  I 'figured it out' as I was walking through the bedroom door, by the way - reminds me of an Agatha Christie I read once...
