Just wanted to share one of the things that has been keeping me so busy!

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=75508397003&ref=nf

This kicks off today, and I'm not only going to be setting up, explaining the labyrinth, being interviewed, but also running the cooperative collage project.
I also have to take down my joint exhibit from the month before (what can I say, I'm popular!) - my whimsical female figures set against my best-friend-in-Korea's abstract paintings, both of which express women's feelings and emotions - pictures below!) ... and then the Sacred Spaces project will be on exhibition for the NEXT month!  Whew!

Hugs from a busy Bard,
Judith

Always great to see your works, Judy! Would really like to see these works standing in front of them as the photos are only 2-dimensional... But looks all really cool! That labyrinth also seems like an interesting idea from the short description I read on the page where you provided the link :)

Guess there's really a very creative bunch of artists over there in Korea with you and this Art Mingle thingy, and I guess that's really perfect for you to share what you produce! Hope you have a lot of fun while your items are on display and that there are a lot of positive comments!  thumbup

Your works and the pictures really fit well together!  thumbup

Lovely works, Judith  :D  Tis a shame they aren't in paint form, I could use some nice artifacts for my lost city.  They would make wonderful Remusian totems from years ago.  Great job.  Is there anything yyou aren't wonderful at?  No, nevermind, I don't want to sully everyones image of you as the perfect developer. :D

(blushes)

Thanks, people - I needed some affirmation and love atm.  Bad evening.  Going to bed now, hopefully without crying myself to sleep.  Hugs to you all,

Bard

Sorry to hear that you've been having a bad day, Judy - can't be your art, though, because that's really one of its kind, inspired, and inspiring...  thumbup

With a bit of imagination I could also take the posted picture personally, eh? ;)

It's a good thing I didn't design it like this then or I'd be in trouble:   ;)

Emotion is such a hard thing to capture in artwork.  But it is the essence of what makes a piece interesting.  You do well with emotion in your art.

I hate to hear you had a bad day.  Sometimes a good cry can do a world of good.  Here's to a brand new day tomorrow.

Hello Bard - I looked at the facebook photos - they are lovely and inspiring. The use of wood lends a nice rustic quality to it. I would love to have the Paper and teabags on wood pieces as decorative tiles.  ;)

Aren't those lovely?  Wish I'd done them - that's the artist who sets up and organizes these Mingles, Sohyun.  They have such warmth and texture - very much my colour palette and some favorite materials.

Thanks for looking and commenting!
