The time has come, the walrus said..........sorry, wrong thing.

The time has come when I can delay R&D on my Masterwork no longer.  undecided

Having spent several hours trawling through almost every map on-site (including the tribal migration ones, which I haven't seen before), I find myself in need of some assistance, or at least some very general directions.

I need to find out who was in charge of the area around the northern Imlith mountains and southern Caael'heroth around 100 (ish) years after the Third War. It would be brilliant if I could find out not only which race/tribe were in command of the region, but also if there was any specific people/person in overall charge. Obviously, I don't want to go into the 'why' thing just yet. You'll have to wait and see.  grin

In all honesty I've probably already read it somewhere but just completely missed it.

Any and all help with this will be rewarded with my undying gratitude. And perhaps a foaming flaggon of ale at the next Moot?

That would be when? Around Santhros ?

Just skim through the history table, maybe you will find something. I just read of a three hundred years war I was not aware of..

Tharoc, I think you posted a very difficult question ;)

I don't know, if there is a lot written down at all, and what we have, is fairly old! I think you need to poke Artimidor to dig in his memory. Or you need to do a very painful search for little bits here and there. Don't you want to take up something which is a bit easier ;)

I realise that it's a big question, Talia, and to be quite honest the answer is only going to play a relatively small part in my Masterwork, but I need a starting point and this is it!

As for doing something easier, where's the fun in that?  ;)

Who says I have an idea what exactly takes place up North at the end of the pre-Santhros times?  huh

Methinks we haven't really much on this, only some vague references in the Imlith Mountains history e.g., but not exactly at that time - see here. We have a cataclysmic battle between Susilgerim and Kurakim dwarves against the (Rhom-Oc) orcs and Shadow Elves upon the Heaths of Wilderon in 145 a.S. And probably further tensions earlier on.

Caael'heroth's history is still pretty blank yet, though Azhira might have a few things in her head or posted somewhere on the Forum already which isn't on site...

Thanks for that Art. I'll PM Azzy and see if she can shed any light on things.

Failing that, can I create a history for that region within my Masterwork, or at least lay the foundations of some?

Sure you can, Tharoc! If it's not there yet, this gap needs to be filled, especially as you're working on entries there it makes sense to make up some history stuff as well as you go along. Just make sure to coordinate that a bit with Azhira and other Northern Sarvonian developers (like Alysse), then this should be perfectly fine :)
