Blame it on the converter, thats what I got for 1 ft,  well tree palmspans and two nailsbreadth. The measurements I origionally worked from are, length= 18in, breadth= 12in base= 13.5in, giving the blade a max thickness of 4.5 in. But this is apprx, I rounded it for simplicity. But yeah i s'pose Oughta fix that.  undecided

Since we are having some difficulty visualizing the Kyranian Axe.  I thought I would throw up a sketch for the Half-moon as well in order to clarify any possible misconceptions now.  Is this basically what you imagine Grendel?

Yup but I'd shorten the haft just a bit. My origional measurements give about 6in for the hand to grip but this can be played with a bit I would think. So from say 6-8in past the bottom of the crescent points. The pic in the entry is pretty much to scale as far as dimensions.

I can't see anything to comment on with regards to your axe, Grendal.

Entry is quite ok, in my point of view it doesn't reallly need to be extremely lengths, so this does just fine to get the idea across. Some notes, though:

- The Overview only deals with the name at the moment, while it should also mention at least briefly what makes the axe so different compared to other axes. And in this case, as it seems to be mainly a Mogerim weapon, this should all be mentioned there.

- Also make sure to write full sentences, see e.g. in the Description "A throwing axe consisting of a single blade of layered steel in the shape of a crescent." isn't a full sentence...

- It should at least be somewhere mentioned what the Morgerim are, so that readers have an idea what you're talking about when you mention them. All we have officially on site about that is:

Quote
THE  MORGERIM ("DARK DWARVES")
A separate clan, although some claim a separate race, since their physical characteristics and culture vary so significantly from the rest of the Thergerim. However, the Morgerim are indeed dwarves, albeit reclusive (and that's reclusive even from a dwarven point of view!) Currently not much is known about them, but historians are working to remedy this lack of information.

While this is not much, it is enough to put a bit of explanation in.

- Something's missing here: "... it would be possible for a master to throw straight if thrown from across the chest."

Alrighty, I believe I have covered yer concerns. Additions and changes made in red 'ceptin the addition of an r in straight. Checkin' me sentences over. Checked I think.

P.s. Being stuck with the name of Dark Dwarves I assume a sinister reputation. This is something I hope to get more into as I gain experience.

Yup, blarrowed as well now - but make sure to write "Thergerim", not "Theregrim"... ;)

I also hope that Seeker can get to colouring that sketch he made, cause it looks really spiffy, and would make our illustrated axes repertoire very diverse. Seems that axes are en vogue lately, eh? ;)

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.

Arti, could you maybe take a look at the RPG board? I got a message from my anti-virus program and now I can't access the column on the right with the list of current threads and the shoutbox. Thankies :)
