Judy is attempting to finish off the last 10 % in a good many of her uncompleted picture entries (tears of gratitude from the ever-patient Sage ensue here) and to that end is posting for final critique and polish.

The elven lass with her dove, or Coa'coa, as you like - again, you can have the horizontal picture of the maiden and bird together, as well as a separate crop of the bird for the Coa'Coa entry.

I especially like the coa'coa bird's beady eye and hauntingly intelligent smile. It's not difficult to get ideas about what kind of message it has brought the elfess ...

Oh, goody goody gumdrops, Judy!  grin

Another absolutely breathtaking picture, and actually we've got two in one here, so double enjoyment all over! And what a wonderful picture it is - the realization of the bird, as the word "realization" already implies it's very realistically looking! Also the features of the elf are beautifully done, right until light on the eyes, nose and cheek, and the gown makes it even more stand out.

Small mini-micro quibbles: The elfy ear is a bit blurry, could be sharper. And taking into account that this is meant to be an elf, who are generally leaner than humans, I'd say the head is a bit too round for an elf. If you quench it a bit without hurting our lady, it might add to the elfy effect.

But other than that it's just perfect I'd say!  number1 nod Big Grin

+1 aura credit!

I guess there is not much more to say .  Very nice. I love the colors and I especialy like the bird.  It looks great.  I also like the detail in the hair and the flowers there.  I will also give you yet another Aura point in hopes it entices you to stay glued to your tablet.

Doh, it appears I must wait 12 hours before granting you Aura bliss.

That's okay, I'll give her an aura point too.

I really like this picture.  And the frock coat gentleman, too!

With all of the Aura points being given to the Bard, I almost feel that I need to jump in and do so as well!

So, let's do it! +1 Aura from me, Bard.

A nice atmosphere yo have here. The white dove in front of that matching background, the face is pretty cool now as well (ear to un-sharp in comparison). I like the blue ribbon.

What I always ask myself - how do you do these embroideries? The blue lace! (Send me a PM, if it is  a secret ;))

Edit: Forgot to mention that arm, it looks a bit strange, draws the attention from that magnificent transparent sleeve!

I agree!  Some myth to do with an elf maid and Coa-coa maybe?

I just love the texture on it - the elf's hair and the bird's feathers....ooooo...makes me want to touch them.

Talia point is a good one but depending on the layers Judith used, fixing the arm could be more troube than its worth.  I tend to vote that this is pis is ready for this weekends update, unless the Bard is really up for an arm readjustment.

By the way here is that aura point I couldn't give the other day.

The Coa'coa will definitely go up this week - for the elven lass we don't have a place yet, so we might wait on that, especially as the ear I think needs some sharpening and maybe the round face can be made a bit more elven as well I'd say.

Oh no, no sharpening of the features of the face please! It is so pretty now as it is. Maybe she is just very young and so her face is still a bit more rounded than usually?

Apart from that it might make more trouble than redoing the arm, if Judy has enough layers to keep that cool fabric intact (as Seeker pointed out).

It could be a person of mixed heritage, if you think she does not look elven enough. Is nobody up to do a person's entry about an high elven princess who married human man or vice versa? How old is the currently oldest princess? Not old enough, I fear.

We will find somebody.

Why can't she just go up with the bird? In the bird's entry? She could still stay in the resources as well for a person's entry.

Well, main reason for putting the bird up as the bird is because I've already prepared it that way this weekend. Because I saw there's definitely no change necessary at that part of the pic (and it was posted separately as well), so I just grabbed it to save some time for this weekend - assuming it's a safe thing to do...  cool

But well, I see you already made an own post - I'll take that one as well then :)
29 May 2013, 10:01:15
No, not necessary... Just wanted to make sure that the text you want to integrate is the final version :) Just leave the rest there!
28 May 2013, 03:57:46
Do you need me to remove the rest of it?  It was supposed to be a full blown entry, but still gathering facts for the other stuff.  I'll move the stuff to be integrated into its own entry.  :)
27 May 2013, 22:46:17
No problem there - are you sure that you've posted the final version? Text on the site is about a year old...
27 May 2013, 16:59:45
Art, I want to submit my Antislar Overview, Appearence, Territory and People sections for uploading on the next update, please. No rush with what you have going on, however.
23 May 2013, 17:14:39
If it works, sure! :D
23 May 2013, 16:47:05
:(  Art, is this your little way of forcing me to do an entry?

I see the board has been deactivated. Lets hope for a quick solution!
