The title says it all.

Somebody aked if I could make the Daoles exist outside the mists, I see no reason why not to, so I am asking oppinions and permission.

The daoles are your creation, Exmortis. If you want to have them elsewhere in Sarvonia, then no one is going to stop you! Perhaps another variety of daoles in another climate. If they glow, you'll have to explain what makes the new variety different than the Mists ones.  thumbup

Really, I thought I had to ask permission before introducing a new species to an area. Or is that only applied to invasive species...

Now to think of a variation to the Daoles.... Dauki, Daumet, Dautok.... so many possibilities.

That rule applies to asking the master of a certain region permission, but you didn't actually select the region in the first place ;)

(and 'somebody' might have been me. in which case you get automated permission for my regions, of course)

I has a realy realy realy realy big cave system, the Black Lakes of Trumatyreon with Dwarves and Brownies as main inhabitants, and an ecosystem of things that learned to live off rock oil.

I like the this place, especially the Truthleon tree.

I'll be happy to make a Daoles for your region, with some variations to specify it to your habitat.... How about the name Daotru, in honour of the lakes of Trumatyreon?


But you saw what I did to the Xaul... I actually made a entire food chain to support it. So, If I go a bit overboard with the Daotru let me know, okay?

Well, i'll be doing some railroading here and there to make sure you stay within my vision of the region, but apart from that its pretty much a clear field for you. Have at it!

And Daotru will work for now as a development name, i'll look into ways of justifying it in the local languages later(Being Dwarvish and an (d)evolved form of Browniim.)
