Tombs. I'm trying to place a barrow or something similar, likely cut into the side of a hill. What sort of place would likely have the sort of tombs I'm thinking of. Deep Julin/Ciosa's Rest is one of them, but I'm looking for something.... forgotten. Someplace you might think has been misplaced by it's owner and is only waiting to be picked up again and put back where it belongs. Ideally this would be somewhere in the north, around Nyermersys where it could have been forgotten during some issue with orcs.

Well, to my knowledge... Most of North Santharia is kinda empty... I think.
So if you can't find a place suited to your vision, maybe you could persway someone to make a resting place as you described...

Personally I think that this underground graveyard would play out well in any of the areas just outside the borders of the mists. But then again, I am just a apprentice, so you can ignore my suggestions with no repercussions, but I thought I would put my two cents in.

Sorry, might have meant to make this a bit more clear, I was thinking Nermerran ideally, somewhere near that mountain range they've got...

Well, if you run out of ideas, my mountain is still open for new places. A tomb would be perfect. There's even some culture on burials surrounding it if that interests you. Just let me know if you'd like to put it there.

Sylv, Evermourn has to do with the Deep Julin Barrows/Ciosa's Rest, which I'd prefer to avoid.

Just pick a mountain and place a barrow there. Invent a name and some history. If someone has an issue with it, I am sure it will be made mention. I'd say place something where you need it and worry about the details later.

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

I know you're looking for somewhere north but you could, if you wanted, put one in the Vale of Brownies as long as it predated the Llaoihrr's arrival (3,638 b.S.).  I've been thinking it should have some pre-brownie history and it is basically a valley surrounded by impassable mountains - might be a logical resting place for someone they really didn't want to be disturbed?  Might depend on the details, but that would be pretty much forgotten by all humans at least, and I could find myths as to why the Brownies would keep away from it if necessary.

Rookie, I like that idea. I'm back to library writing at the moment. Watched Fellowship of the Ring (*has the precious four disk edition*) last night. I can *hear* the bits and pieces of this story running through my head. It needs to be written. I just didn't want to be kicking myself over putting a barrow somewhere stupid, or thinking of a better spot to put it later.
