Never heard of it before  shocked

A quick search on the site reveals this mini-description (under Ralrok's musical theme):

Quote
Quel’tra’loh is an island realm founded upon magic, weste of the Sarvonian mainland. The capital of Quel'tra'loh is called Corloth, and since this is its most famous city, the people are called Corlothans. Corlothans are a proud people, and one of the few for whom magic is an everyday thing and not mainly imagined as stories are told around warm fires. The leader of the city, the Skylord (or Skylady) has always been one of the most powerful wizards of this small kingdom. All of the businesses use magic in one form or another. Blacksmiths make use of runes and potions to imbue their weapons with beneficial characteristics. Farmers use magic to create crops that will grow faster and have better results. Architects reinforce their buildings with small spells, and can protect them against weather. Merchants use gates formed by rock arches enchanted with extremely powerful spells to travel long distances in short amounts of time. The people of Quel'tra'loh are most famous for the legendary flying ships powerful mages of ancient times had used, however, this knowledge has been lost during the millenia.

Has any work been done on this island yet? I had a lot of similar ideas for the Krean, some of them mentioned in passing in previous entries. So instead of duplicating same/similar phenomena - would it be possible to link Quel'tra'loh to the Krean somehow? If the island is supposed to lie to the West of Santharia, it should be pretty close to Nybelmar anyway?

Hmmm....

PS: Deci - you're entry is so long lol - it's taking a while to uri! Especially on an ipod-touch! ouch

EDIT: A forum search showed a few other links of interest:

Raising of Corloth (story)

On Quel Ships

Arti mentioned here that Stormcrow had a more or less finished entry in the works on the Quel - but I couldn't find it

Magical skyships! Magical skyships!

Hahaha!  :D I knew we had them somewhere.

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

I was planning on stealing it since magical skyships are sort of weird. You've got a whole tribe to fix Azhira!

Well, given the fact that Stormcrow has done a great job already with this entry, but it isn't on site yet, it would be cool if someone could take over and finish the entry. There is some conceptual work necessary in order to make sure that Caelereth isn't flooded with magical ships, so they'd need to be kept at a minimum, and the magic of Quel'tra'loh should be very unique, so that ships can't fly everywhere etc.

I'm not entirely up to date how far we've got with this one in the discussions, so you'd need to read up a bit by looking at the posted submission and related topics - but if you're looking for a challenge, this one's definitely up for grabs!

Lol - I asked first!

*elbows Valan out down the 500 stral chasm*

*hollers down, the echoes accompanying Valan on his riveting journey*

Maybe we could have a group project?

Ooops - too late?

A group project would be very nice...if we had the organization to do it (and people who stuck around long enough to realize it...)

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
