I need a Styrash translation for "Beast Dweller". It is the name the local elves call the Kaaer (given their culture of animism)

Thanks!

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

Let's see:

thróg (beast)
zoúm (home)
dweller would then be zoumáth (f.) I'd say.

So, thróg'zoumáth would then be "Beast Dweller".

*makes mental note to update the Styrásh principles table to the new table format*

P.S. You might shorten it a bit to make it sound better, e.g. thro'zoumáth  or throzmáth, plural would at any rate be with an -ia added.

That's perfect Arti, much thanks. That will go in my Kaaer revision.

Next translation request!

I need Styrash for "circlet of renewel" or "ring of healing" as a name the elves have for the ring of Jamliso.

"Shellán" (to renew) we already have, so I make a noun out of it for renewal: "shellásh" (m.).

The current words for circle/globe etc. and circular/round are somewhat mixed up, so I straighten those and make circle/globe to "seeór" (m.) and the adjective to "seeóh". As for ring and circlet I'd use "seéy" (m.).

"Ring of Renewal" would then be "seéy'shellásh", which I think sounds pretty nice :)

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.

Arti, could you maybe take a look at the RPG board? I got a message from my anti-virus program and now I can't access the column on the right with the list of current threads and the shoutbox. Thankies :)
