I was wondering about the whereabouts and general 'developing' status of these peeps here: Grunok, Marvin and Koldar

I ask because all these ppl have their fingers in the pie that is the goblin race, and I'd love to get in touch with them. Rather than sending an email and waiting till kingdom come, I thought I'd make a quick enquiry about them first. Cheers

Koldar=Rakshiri does normally answer to emails, just give it a try.

That is his website, but I see, that he has not updated it for a year.

Grunok I saw recently on the board, for a very short time.

Both are not developing actively right now. I think you will have to email... ;)

I've already emailed Koldar a couple of days back, so I'm just waiting there. Grunok I'll keep an eye out for, possibly email too since there's a healthy chance she'll get back to me. Anyone got any news on Marvin?

edit Since, Koldar has gotten back to me and given me 'free reigns' with the Goblins ^^ Happy times. Now, Koldar was the sole author of the Gob-Oc entry, but I'm sure others are involved too. How do I best go about this? Should I just start with work on the goblins and then take concerns as they come, or should I set out and track down everyone who may be affected first?

Hey Jonael,

I'd at least send the others an email to see if they show up - if nothing else they'd be able to give you some good pointers/comments if they do come along, and at worse, at least you'll have given them a chance to give their input.

Marvin last signed onto these boards in September of 2007, so any claim that he may have had to the tribe has long since expired.

If you'd like, I'm sure there is contact information on his team page, but I don't think it would cause a fuss if you didn't try to get in touch with him.

Grun said she plans to do the the Manthrian waterfall entry, so I hope we hear more of her :) So I'd say asking her about goblins can't be wrong, we need to get her more regularly here anyway ;)

This is not very relevant to the original purpose of this thread, but I didn't want to start a new thread just for this one question:

Did we ever look into a chat room for the developers? Haha, I say this because over the last couple of days I've seen more and more fellow researchers about, and each time I feel like waving frantically at them and saying "good morning ---" or "good eve ---" but find myself just sitting there in silence instead, quickly returning to the research business I was on.

To put it another way, it's like you're taking a break from researching, and have a stroll through the compendium. You come across another researcher and feel like stopping for a quick friendly chat... haha, maybe I'm the only one that feels that way though XP I just thought the ShoutBoard is more of a 'pin board' that doensn't quite cater for that sort of 'chat'

Just thought it'd be well sweet if there was something along the lines of a chat room where you can enter and just have a relaxed chat with your fellows... *hides* ok, I'll be quiet now and stop with the 2am inspired thoughts, haha
