Okeydokey, and this completes our very first site update on the new server... Hope you like! :D

We've got another lifetime Achievement Award to hand out this time, which this time goes to - also thanks to recent continued contributions - to legendary Santharian artist, Faugar! clap clap clap



The Lifetime Achievement Award for Dedication and Perseverance
Faugar is one of those artists who put their mark on the Santharian Dream early on, when the site still was in its infancy and contributed greatly to its success. Joining the Dream in 2000 his works have accompanied us for more than a decade now, and whether you check out the Bestiary, Herbarium, People, Races and Tribes section or want to find extraordinary Places, nicely illustrated stories - you'll find Faugar pictures everywhere on the site. Even most of the menu icons are Faugar made, and there are a lot of monsters you can encounter in Santhworld that were brought to life by our artiste extraordinaire. Thanks to his continuous work for the Dream he inspired many writers to create entries based on images that sprang from his mind, or he helped the other way round to visualize what others have only sketched on digital paper so far. It are people like Faugar who made Santharia what it is now: an opulently illustrated, throughout beautiful site, which can be enjoyed visually as much as its written content. With Faugar's work he has immeasurably enriched the project for years and years for everyone, whether you are one of those who are working with the material or just looking at it.

I didn't know what expect for this update,  wow it turned out great. 

Aura +1 for Faugar for all those new pictures.  Congratulations on the Lifetime Achievement Award.  Well deserved.

Aura +1 to Art for the update, but more importantly for that Manthrian Province Overview.  I love that Overview and look forward to more that type.  The layout of the overview is great and I believe it will inspire more pictures and development.

Yes, it should already be in the side menu actually. E.g. in

Places --> Sarvonia South --> Manthria --> Overview, right on top

also in the Compendium under

Manthria, Santh. Prov.

If it's not there, try refreshing the page, yup.

A point of aura as my contribution to the Sage's Aura stockpile.

One has to wonder exactly how the Sage is able to store it all. Does he use some of Azhira's imps to store them in the nether regions, some dwarven mining implements to excavate under his current abode, some of the plants from the Mira's greenhouse to guard it or some kind of borrowing beastie yet to be researched for the Compendium which he has trained to transport and store them for him.

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.
