OK, I have never actually seen the Ring of Jamliso but this entry has intrigued me for quite some time.  So as I travel to the Ciosa area I thought I would paint my depiction of this famous ring.

Azhira I hope it fits your vision and helps inspire the completion of your rewrite.

Comments Welcome.

Lovely illustration of the ring, Seeker! Actually in all its shininess it looks almost real in the small version - even the velvet in the back looks very realistic! :D BTW: What text did you put on the ring - can you spell that in Tharian? Because it might not be proper Styrásh, in which case I'd need to provide the right translation first...

Aura +1 from here of course! I hope Azhira indeed gets inspired with this pic. I also provided a few pointers, so mayhaps we'll see this one go up more sooner than later. :) Azhira? Are you there?  cool

The inscription reads "Healer God".  Figured that was the closest thing to Nehtor the Healing God.

I see... That's probably fine then, of course also depending on what Azhira wants to do with the entry. :)

Oh my gosh! I had not expected a pic of the ring! Absolutely this inspires me.

I like the design, the mithral/gold shine along with the patterns. In fact, the image is correct as far as the Nehtorians are concerned. They claim the ring has the name of the healing god inscribed, when in reality, Jamliso probably never would have included that. So the ring is more or less what the Nehtorians claim it to look like.

Now that I have a pic, I need to finish the entry! And I have some time on my hands, so I'll get some of Arti's ideas going.

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

Yaaay! Great to hear you're planning to get back to business, Azhira! Azhira entries are always a fascinating read - be it Waudrin Ghortz, Ghostling Brownies, the Mists of Osthemangar... Hopefully soon the Ring of Jamliso as well!  cool

I am so glad you like it Azhira and that the ring is accurate at least according to the Nehtorians.   thumbup ;)

I am very satisfied with the picture of the ring here. I feel it's ready to be integrated with the entry now.  cool

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.

Arti, could you maybe take a look at the RPG board? I got a message from my anti-virus program and now I can't access the column on the right with the list of current threads and the shoutbox. Thankies :)
