Okeydokey, I've just uploaded this weeks rather basic update which focuses pretty much solely on Overviews. The Herbarium overviews are done now, only drakes and dragons are left at the Bestiary - didn't know for example that our rodents are pretty well illustrated already, the pigs aren't that bad either and insects we really have a lot!

Well, as the Insects section is so massive: I suggest that we try to break it down somewhat, as we could make own sections e.g. for Beetles, Butterflies, Flies, maybe Worms (though we've only got one there yet). I'm not sure where to put the rest of time, but I'm open for any suggestions in this regard!

Oh, and we've got another lifetime Achievement Award to hand out this time, which goes to another of the legends of back in the days... Viresse! clap clap clap Too bad nobody knows where to she's disappeared as her homepage and e-mail don't exist anymore and her picture galleries on the web weren't updated for half a dozen years. Nevertheless, she belongs to one of the great ones of Santharia!



The Lifetime Achievement Award for Productivity and Heart
Whirlwind Viresse has to be counted among the most active Santharian members back in the days, responsible for developing more than half a dozen elven tribes, lots of People entries, spells, a load of very unique beasts, she even drew a couple of pictures and made a whole of a lot else impossible to name here, but among those many things she wrote e.g. a book-sized story in the context of the Dream. That not enough, Viresse was a constantly seen face on the Dev board, always there to chip in, bring up new ideas, help out with spot on comments and make the place a whole lot of fun! Undoubtedly a major award is only justified for our multifarious Viresse, and therefore we're happy to present to her this Lifetime Achievement Award for Productivity and Heart for extraordinary service for the cause of the Dream. Applause, applause!

Love the overviews. Aura +1 for Art for pretty much making the whole overview himself :)  A real Arty special this week.

Missed the Feylin bug in the insect overview.

We could still use an overview for the Wild Animals "Others" section.  We have quite a bit of monkeys and apes within that group that may deserve their own section too.

Monkeys and apes could indeed get their own section, we really have a quite bunch gathered already, agreed. Can easily be extracted next time. I've just noticed that there are also still some overviews missing in the Wild Animals section - well, still some work to do for next time, but we're definitely getting there... :)

I went ahead on the Monkeys already and added the new section in the menu and the overview page, removing the monkeys from the Others category. I've also added the Monkeys to the Web History page. Apparently monkeys and apes are not exactly the same thing here on Earth as far as categorization goes, but I guess this shouldn't really bother us. In Caelereth apes are monkeys and the other way round unless scholars prove us otherwise - evolution in Avá's Dream must have worked differently ;)
