I called this a Fire Giant in its first draft, but it seems to have warped and changed as I worked on it.  

Per Art's half-remembered suggestions (since I can't seem to find the original posting of this), I've redrawn and reworked the painting for:

More crispness and three-dimensionality
More texture
More light and shadow play
Hand-drawn 'flame' texture on the body

I've also added more expression, sparks, and coals.

Can this pic be used for our Fire Giants, or is it too Elemental, Fire Goblin, Fire Spirit - ish now?

Great update here as well, Judy! Especially love the smoke effect, and now our guy also looks grimmer and makes quite a challenging opponent I'd say. Cool stuff, will be added to our Giants overview! :) Aura +1!
