Ok guys, we've got a couple of things together, so that we can start thinking of an update (actually I've prepared what has been approved already, just didn't upload it). Anyway, we could use some pics in the update, so I'm looking what I can use where.

I think Reegen's "We Were Brothers" could be used at the Earth Spells: Delirium (Level III) entry showing the consequences of a confused mind - a fighter attacking his own combatants...

Anyway, lots of pics there still to use from Reegen I'd say, so everyone's welcome to take a look, see his gallery here.

What about "Cold Place" for something ice tribeish, e.g.?

Newbies BTW are also welcome to look around and maybe get an inspiration to write an entry based on what they see. We could used some monsters, like "Green Hell" or "You Have To Catch It"

Reminder: We can also use pics by Max, see here, Bkiani (here) and Sandara (here, in case they are not commissioned).

Can I claim "you have to catch it"?

Yep, yep, all yours if you like to have a go on it, Rakvél :) If you write a monster like this just make sure that you embed it in a "realistic" way, which means that monsters of that size usually don't live in civilized areas, don't exist in masses etc. Just use common sense. :)

So.... you actually need to integrate pictures you already have, or could you use a new pic?

This is my latest commissioned piece, still a WIP - she happens to be a goddess - and I'm going to ask my client if she'd mind it being posted and used here, without the little extra details (secret codes hidden in the hair and stuff like that).  Maybe we have a Southern Goddess who wants to pose on a giant lily?

Anyhow, if y'all might be interested, I can give her an appropriately Santharian background, like a temple with giant lotuses in the background or something.  Let me know.   XOXOX - Judith

Hello there, Judy!

Good to see you working creatively :) Any picture you finish of course is always welcome, old or new - if there's a possibility to make it work with something that already exists on the site, there's always a chance that it might end up in an update. If you get permission to use the picture here as well, of course. However, due to the current lack of contributors updates are currently on hold, and I'm not going to try to change the situation myself and I'll focus on own Santharian and non-Santharian projects. So don't feel obliged to Santhariarize the picture, Judy, because if and when future updates will happen, is very unsure.

:D  Way to be encouraging, gloomy gus. :P

Hi Judith.

Lovely pic.  Reminiscent of the Birth of Venus by Botticelli.

I'm currently creating my ruined city, and trying to throw some anachronisms in there.  Would it be possible to age this?  Throw some cracks in it, some areas that are missing?  I'm thinking a fresco.  Either this could be used there as something painted on an ancient wall, or if you wanted to make it look like it was painted on something newer, I could perhaps place it in Salsair someplace.  Perhaps a fresco of an earlier queen in the Citadel, or maybe a goddess in the Foiron?  Jeyriall perhaps, as both sun and water are needed for crops to grow and Salsair has such a strong farming community?

Just tossing out some ideas.

We miss you, Bard.  :)

For you, Altario, no problem.   Let me fresco-ize it and she's all yours.

My dear sage, I'm sorry to hear that you have few writers at this time.  Vast projects often grow, dwindle, swell, and breathe again, just as many complex organisms do in life.  Santharia still lives, and she will spread and grow again.  (I really must get the Kitkat reading the site, now that she's beginning to be able to create on her own....)

This the sort of thing you were thinking of, Alt?  If so, message me your email (I'm Bard Judith on Facebook still) and I'll send you the full-size image to upload :)  Or steal her straight off my blog.

:D  Excellent aging, Bard.  This is wonderful.  Maybe send Arti the file?  He is the one who will ultimately place it in my finished entry, which shouldn't be too long in the creating of.  And with so few people online, I'll simply blarrow my own work....  rolleyes

Really, I love how this looks aged on a rock wall.  In this context, I think I like it better than the original.
