I'm in the process of finishing a whole batch of Fairy Tales I've been writing on lately, so I'll post them all at once during the week. So far I've got four tales, so here are the titles in case you're interested:

- The Brownie Who Wanted to Be Somebody (12 pages)
- The Beauty and the Bard (10 pages)
- Stones and Bones (11 pages)
- The Fairy Tale That Wrote Itself (3 pages)

Coming soon, more in the works!

Here's the first:

Tale 1/4: The Brownie Who Wanted To Be Somebody
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 12 pages

Introduction: A little Brownie boy is not satisfied with his life and therefore sets out, vowing that he'll be somebody. On his way he happens to meet a powerful wizard, who suggests to assist him with achieving his goal. Now what is it our little fellow might want to be?

Here's the second:

Tale 2/4: The Fairy Tale That Wrote Itself
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 3 pages

Introduction: Trying to explain "The Fairy Tale That Wrote Itself" is quite a feat, if not an impossible task. Because in it sentences and paragraphs become alive to tackle the problem on how to write a fairy tale, only to discover that in discussing it, it has already happened. Well. See? There's not much point in explaining beforehand. So why not read the whole thing yourself? It might have written itself, but a reader is still appreciated.

Here's the next one:

Tale 3/4: Stones and Bones
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 11 pages

Introduction: A place deep down in the enchanted Thaelon woods proves to have a magical attraction to a group of youngsters on their prowl. More and more one of the boys uncovers its secrets. But are all the secrets the ancient elves or druids hid there meant to be disclosed?

A revision of a tale for a change:

Tale 3.5/4: The Pocket Watch
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 3 pages

Introduction: One of the most recent additions to the "Frethoni Book of Fables" is the "Pocket Watch", not more than two centuries old. It tells us of the efforts of a dedicated and well-known clockmaker trying to repair a precious pocket watch a hobbit has given him to look after. But for some strange reason the clock never seems to be completely repaired, and the clockmaker needs to do get back to work again and again. Until one day, that is...

And the last one for now - next batch is in the works:

Tale 4/4: The Beauty and the Bard
Link: Read it in the Santharian Library
Size: 10 pages

Introduction: Once upon a time the whole kingdom talked about nothing but the king's beautiful third daughter and her imminent betrothal. But who would the lucky one be? Especially now that the king made clear that the princess could choose whomever she wanted? Among the candidates: a bard, his weapon: the quill. So: Paladin, duke, merchant, court jester, miller's son, poet, or...?
