Speaking of pale, thin men..

here's the latest version of the picture - cropped heavily, and yet the original of this piece only is 1600x730 - so I had to resize it for the web (losing some detail of course :(   ) - but I stuck Lysander's head into it - it's 1:1. Notice the serious facelift I gave him (compare with the 'old' version).. Oh, I made him lok a bit more pale too :D  
I hope for some suggestions/comments...beside that his ear has to be redone ;)

this might make me your newest pain in the @ss, :)   i apologise before hand... :(

I think in this version of the picture you loose a certain “something”. Her face is where my gaze settles, and I don’t get the same feeling of youthful anger as I did before. Her hair isn’t randomly “spiky” any more. I felt the random bursts of hair gave her more of a youthful brashness. It seems to be smoother now verses before. Also her expression isn’t quite as... rebellious. I guess to put it more inarticulately; she has lost the defiance in her face. Now she just seems to be yelling- while before she was screaming in frustrated anger.

:o  - sorry now I’ll go back to my hole… ;)

you're right probably.. these things happen - when colored pictures alwaya change.. not always for the better.. I'll try to make her look angry (one look in the mirror will help I think :evil  )

Hmmm.....I think Talia's right, a certain something is lost sometimes during colouring which a black and white sketch, crude as it may be, retains. I still quite like the coloured pic, I shall name it the Wall drawing!, although Katya does look a little old in it, she's supposed to be 14-15 years old in that particular chapter and Katya in the Wall drawing looks at least in her early twenties. But there's a powerful quality to the coloured Wall drawing that I like so I'm of two minds about it :)   Sorry Faugar, I think I just added to your headache which I forsee is becoming a migraine!! Lysander looks fine, tall and pale :lol  Perfect!

Well, I do like the first pic very much though, the half-nekkid one of Katya, though I'm not quite sure why you drew her draped in a skimpy blanket though.... :lol   But you drew her features and expression really well and I'm looking foward to having Art put it up on the site, um, but a head crop would be good, please?? I don't want single desperate people like Koldar pestering her for a date :b   For one thing, she's a respectably married woman and responsible queen so posing in the Santharian Playboy is a little.....risque?? Heehee :)

don't frget every picture is just an interpretation and some changes and diversion from text are sometimes made.. to make it look more.. interesting ;)

I'm no good.. I can't even draw a child of 15... I'm sorry...

I'm happy you at least like Lysander though..

As for the 'first K. pic'  -it wasn't really suposed to be her. I think I can crop her head off (hehe) for you ;)

Yeah, but you know that sites who show some flesh have millions of visitors a day - and who has secret pictures of a real queen posing in her youth for the Santharian Playboy? *grin*

Now to the pic: Wooooow! Just have to say Woooow!

Especially the details on Lysander are breathtaking and also the background (what we can see from it) looks great, it has lots of impressive details and I can't wait to see the whole image!! As for Roxette, errr... Katya, she indeed looks a bit grown up and seems like she is larger than Lysander.

Also don't know if that's just my impression but it seems that Lysander's left hand arm is a bit too short (could be the perspective however). Just wanted to mention that. But the details on Lysander alone are simply wonderful! Fantastic work, Faugar!

and about his arm - I think it looks too short because of the shoulderpads.
now I'm off to try to give KATYA a rejuvinating facelift...

You're right, Art, she does look like Roxette! :lol  Faugar, I really do like all your drawings so don't get your pencils in a bunch just yet, hehe :)  I just like some of your pictures more than others though all of them are wonderful. Thank you for the head-crop! No Santharian Playboy Queen of the Month please, no matter how Koldar begs! I haven't seen it yet but going to now! Yep, Lysander looks fine, I didn't notice the arm thing cause I'm terrible at proportions. I usually see a drawing and it's the entirety of the whole picture that gets to me, not little details...hm, is that good or bad?!

Will get back to you Art on where to put Faugar's pic of Katya *at last!!!* but yes I think the compendium entry would be good! Oh wow, I just realised that I have at least three different artists' interpretation of Katya! Vaelaron, Enayla and Faugar! I love every single picture they did whether intentionally or unintentionally of Katya, I feel really happy and proud! I sound a bit trite and cheesy *groan* but it's the truth! :D
