I need to know...

I want to write something for Santharia, but I don't know how to go about it. I can't just leap into a forum and post something which will probably turn out to be entirely irrelevant.

So, does anyone have ideas which are just begging to be written?

I have a few ideas of my own, actually concerning certain weapons, as my character Artemis uses a blade called the Krish Blade, I thought of developing that for Santharia... ARGH, I don't know... >.<

Please can you help me, I want to write something, perhaps in Magic, or Mythology, I just need a gentle push in the right direction.

Also, completely irrelevant, why can't I log on *properly* on these forums? I can't log on so that I get my CP and everything - I have to use the little boxes to type in my username and password. It's getting annoying, because it also means I can't edit my posts here.

So, anyway, could I please be enlightened?

To your login problem: I have sometimes the same when my browser decides to forget the passwords. Just go to the top, there you find this small login botton and click it. Maybe you have to remove a high secutrity thingie.

To start with a myth may be a bit difficult for the beginning, because you have to have big background knowledge, so that it will fit(tribes, deities..)A weapon might be easier,though Koldar did quite a lot already.
There you have to go to the "Miscellaneous" Board and look for the guide: How to do Misc. things. Post your first draft there and we will tell you what we like and dislike :-)

If you push the ring under the icons on the left top you will find the weapons already done and uploaded.

Ahhhh... thankies for that...

I've actually had a bit of a brainwave (for me... poor braincell is working overtime...) and have posted an idea in the cosmology section... EDIT - idea no good, braincell let me down again.

But the weapon I mentioned I'm going to do as well, because it doesn't make sense for my character to be using a weapon which doesn't officially exist in Santharia...

Login: Yup, probably the Internet Explorer security thingy. Click on Extras, options, tab 3, where you have a slider about cookies and other security issues. Move the slider to the bottom and you should have no problems at all. You can try moving it up again a bit if you want to keep your security higher and it still works.

Weapon is ok, if you can put it somewhere, create a bit of history for it etc. I've also answered at the Newbie Forum about what you could do perhaps.

If I understand your post literally. Go into "My Control Centre", click on "edit preferences", uncheck "High Security", and make a post. When you uncheck High Security, it will create a cookie on your computer and you should have no problems.

BTW: there is not a great need for two High Securities, unless your browser has a low bit patform.

I wasn't refering to the ezBoard settings, Winlok, but to the Internet Explorer settings, cause if you turn on "High Security" at the ezBoard settings as you describe you get this problem.

I refered to the Internet Explorer settings, which you reach with Extras, Options etc. If you turn off all the security settings as described above (slider!) ezBoard works perfectly, but well, maybe you aren't then as secure as before
