Sorry Wren for being soooooo slooooow with putting your drawings up here. 1+2 are really nice, propose to add some background (branches or something) if possible. BTW: Can it be that the male pic was Legolas-inspired?

Not sure about 3-5, because the style differs considerably from other pics on the site and the design of the houses may not fit to Santharia.

Well, here they go... I've resized the drawings a bit so they all fit on the page here:

Me inspired by the lovely Orlando Bloom? Never.

I've just noticed how wobbly they all are. Never learnt about straight lines at school. But will she do, or shall I save her for a happier tale?

Could anyone do clever Photoshop stuff with them and colour them in? I only really work in pencil and it doesn't show up well.

Koldar *thwacks and blushes* Couldn't we have left this in the third page back? :o

Ach...I try...I thought they might do for one or other of all the RP'ers asking for piccies, if I redraw them in pen or colour them in.

Wren, especially the first is lovely, I wouldn't add much colour , she is sad, so keep it in greys.

Art, if you approve, I could use the fourth one (cropped, of course) to illustrate one of the towns I'll be writing about on the east coast of Santharia.  It would make a great little multi-racial trading post town, for example - some human fishermen and merchants, and some dwarven miners and craftsmen, living in the same area and using this place for storage and and central market.

That would explain the blocky, multistory shape of the stone buildings (material provided by dwarves) which is not typical of poorer fishing villages, but also explain why it's not a very large community.  And the dome thingy in the background says 'temple' to me.... so we could have another location for a small temple here, if I write up the entry!  Another interesting place for our RPGers, too...

Aye or Nay?   I like starting with a picture, as you may have noticed I did with Quellion's Nepris illustration (grin)...

*will redo that, and scan it on the scanner at work, see if I can get it to look a little better than that* I tend to paint stuff to be seen from a distance. It doen't come across well on a puter screen. I'll see what I can do about details.....

Hmmm... It's a very different style form what we have on the site, and I wan't to make everything fit together as good as possible (a watercolor picture for example will never have the details of Photoshop pics). So re-work definitely needs to be done here, especially because the walls aren't straight on the pic and more precision is needed.

Photo shop = hard!

Maybe the Bard can just take the concept from the piccy and Quellion can make a new pic from her description?

I could paint over Wren's pic, using Judith description, so retaining the perspective and the overall composition and building placement, if you want. Beautiful perspective, by the way :)

No, not necessary... Just wanted to make sure that the text you want to integrate is the final version :) Just leave the rest there!
28 May 2013, 03:57:46
Do you need me to remove the rest of it?  It was supposed to be a full blown entry, but still gathering facts for the other stuff.  I'll move the stuff to be integrated into its own entry.  :)
27 May 2013, 22:46:17
No problem there - are you sure that you've posted the final version? Text on the site is about a year old...

Art, I want to submit my Antislar Overview, Appearence, Territory and People sections for uploading on the next update, please. No rush with what you have going on, however.
23 May 2013, 17:14:39
If it works, sure! :D
23 May 2013, 16:47:05
:(  Art, is this your little way of forcing me to do an entry?
