Here's the Paths-Map Talia provided lately:

 Legend:
red: main path, generally known

orange: smaller paths, generally know, but smaller and more difficult to walk (due to the huge cliffs Dasai has connections to Varcopas mainly by the sea way)

green: only known to the Shendar
green dotted: no defined paths, here orientation works mainly with the help of various utilities like stars etc., sometime these paths can't be walked at all, depending on the season. They are not always easy to be found, sometimes even Shendar miss the right path!

---

Ok, this is one of the first path maps and we need more such maps of other regions. Maybe someone can do the eastern region (Nepris, Parthanul, Marcogg etc.) as we need to put them all together in order to form a large general path map for the whole of Santharia.

I can do that path map if you like, Artimidor.  I have a good feel for that region as I've been doing the smaller maps anyhow!

I have one problem:  Klinsor will eventually need to be 'moved' on the master map (your large grey overview) because it's too far from the coast to be effective as it is now.    We are implementing it as a whaling and pearling town and a major port city, as well as the main centre of industry/travel in the Tolonian Waist area, so it has to be a bit closer to the Yanthian Bay - preferably right on the bay if you could.

Then the Greifen Marl (spelling?) will take up the narrow centre of the Waist and paths can be created on that premise.

Will send you a path map using Talia's colour coding system later.  Regards - Judy

Yup, moving Klinsor isn't much of a problem. Just draw your paths and mark the Klinsor adjustment on the main map and I will update the main map then.

I don't know but looking at the map I just got the impression that at the small bay west the cloudforest would be a perfect place for a small harbour city that eventually ensures safe passage of ships from Thalambath to Varcorpas to provide a safe harbour there.

Just an idea, maybe Talia agrees... :)

Yup, guess this would look fine, though I fear I've made the hills there too small... Have to ask Talia...

A small village should be able to exist there, mainly living from the sea and imported goods, maybe there could exist a hidden path to the aj'nuvic grounds to enable the people to live at this steep coast, though they won't find much there...they would be eyed very suspicious by the Shendar however,LOL. The natural  treasures of the cloud forest could be an income source and foodsource as well, just agriculture would be impossible. I'm looking after a nice name :-)

maybe there is some kind of coloration material (Farbestoffe? Don't now the real translation from dutch to english) that can only be found in the cloudforest? Could be a source of income...

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.

Arti, could you maybe take a look at the RPG board? I got a message from my anti-virus program and now I can't access the column on the right with the list of current threads and the shoutbox. Thankies :)
