In the  Diorye'oleal entry.

Quote
Most elves of lower classes will carry daggers or knives, which tend to be of more use than anything. Not only are most weapons of this nature rather cheap and expensive

I would point out the ending of the first sentence is problematic. Beyond the grammar, "anything" is a broad statement. So they use daggers more then, cups? magic? Hands? shoes?  Plus previously it said that most Diorye'oleal are unarmed, so it doesn't make sense that daggers are used more then anything.

Also, in the previous paragraph it speaks of swords being popular, but also says weapons are rarely used at all, and bows are used more then swords. So how does that constitute "popular"?

There are a fair number of consistency issues in this entry around this area, making it hard to get a feel for how things work. A prime example is, "cheap and expensive", how can something be both? What does that mean?

The  Helvet’ine entry

Quote
The trade is almost exclusively in Nul’tum fur and fish, both items that are destined for use by the wealthy.

I am not sure what this is saying, I think it is saying either:

Most trade is done in Nul'tum. Trade of fur and fish is for the wealthy.
Or
Trade of fur and fish is traded almost exclusively in Nul'tum, for the use of the wealthy.

I really can't decide which it is meant to mean, I start thinking for sure one way or another, then I have doubts. The meaning should be more clear anyway.

There is actually an animal named the Nul'tum which has fur. I found that out by following the Nul'tum link in that sentence which took me to the relevant animal.

So, it would be something similar to someone writing something like:

The trade is almost exclusively in fox fur and fish, both items that are destined for use by the wealthy.

Perhaps the confusion for you lays in the animal name being capitalised in that sentence, which I am sure shouldn't be happening in an entry that is not about the animal.

Ah thanks  Deklitch, yes the capatilzation threw me, causing me to think it was the name of a city. But also "The trade" threw me a bit too.

I recommend for clearer meaning

'Trade with the Trk’matiuis is almost exclusively in nul’tum fur, and fish; both items that are destined for use by the wealthy.'

Tharian-Mermish dictionary: the Mermish translation of "Thirsty" is missing. From the Mermish-Tharian dictionary, this should be "Hss-tii".

The same goes for Tharian "no" (which is "Toh" in Mermish)

On the Bestiary menu, under the "Animals, Flying" section, the first listing, the Aelirel Bird, appears at a slightly larger font than the normal menu items, at least on my screen.

this weapon is very slow to load and usually has quite a high poundage. It has a drawlength of approx. 14 inches. A Crossbow consists of a small bow (prod) mounted on a wooden plank and uses small kinds of arrows called bolts (one feet or less long).

Feet should be fore and inches should be measured in nailsbreadths. Thirty-four and two grains if my conversion math doesn't fail me. Crossbow entry. My garbage browser prevents me from providing a link.

I quote directly from the complete History thread:

13000 b.S.  The Founding of Hobbitshire
Hobbitshire, the first shire of the halfling race, is settled by Harfuld the Green in what is now known as the Silvermarshes. Harfuld becomes the first Thain of the shire, which is home to several thousand hobbits. It flourishes.

.....

ca. 5600 b.S.  The Founding of Hobbitshire
"Hobbitshire", the first shire of the halfling race, is settled by Harfuld the Green in what is now known as the Silvermarshes. Harfuld becomes the first Thain of the shire, which is home to several thousand hobbits. It flourishes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Funny that Harfuld The Green lives over 7000 years to found the first hobbitshire twice.

I assume it accidently got double added to the hisotry ;)

Is it the AGLAN or the ALGAN Slug.  The hyperlink and Title say Aglan (And that was how I was pronouncing it)  while the entry itself says Algan.

I feel like a an idiot of course for not noticing this before.  :(

I was doing the Orc Trivia in Santhworld and on the question that said "What weapons do Orcs use regularly" and when I clicked on C (the wrong answer) it said "have mullog and halfling blood in their ancestry, do not consort with elves dark or otherwise". I assume there is something wrong with that as it has nothing to do with the question.

Just noticed on The Northern Sarvonian Continent: The Lands of The Kuglimz map the following label attached to a city on the Peninsula of Kr'uul "Runins of Dak'dinal". I'm wondering whether it was meant to be "Ruins of Dak'dinal".

The city of Chylikis is misspelled in the Spiderturtle entry, being spelled Chylkis.  It can be found in the Usage section.

There are four stripped karas running around in the Shendar People entry:

one in the Appearance section, one in Diet, and two in Armour.

There is also a streaker in the Long-Eared Monkey entry (Usages Section, 2nd paragraph).

(Other entries, like the Rahaz-Dath and the Koyot Canine, refer more appropriately to the 'striped kara'.)

A small one:

Anilya the Everbright entry

The last sentence in the second paragraph under Importance has a sentence to be removed. It was a developer note and not for the entry:

Quote
(I have removed the statement saying that Ximaxian mages are not religious to clear that whole issue.)

Móh'rónn Saban Blackcloak

The second sentence of the second paragraph in the biography section. I beleive "imprioning" should be imprisoning.

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.
