one of the 9 Human tribes Inhabbiting the independent Island Kingdom of R'unor

Traditionaly the R'unorian Royalty, the R'marth Tribe Although relitvely small in number has always been one of the most influntial in R;unorian history after the Unification in the santharian year -1700b.s. Although in recent years there power has begun to diminish as more and more power is placed in such organizations as the Guil of Librarians and the gaurds council.

Physical Charecteristics.
Members of the R'marth tribe useualy posses extremly dark skin, often the same color as the most finely posished Obsidian. They aso seem to useualy posses a slightly rounder figure than most of the other tribes. Although this could be just as much an aspect of there possition in society as heridity. There eyes seem to be predominantly green in Color although hazel and blue are not unheard of.

Society and Culture
Although in the post Unification era there is little distiction culturaly between the various tribes in everyday life, some more traditional feastivils and gatherings often bring about the observence of pre unification traditions. Like all r'unorian tribes R'marth was matriacal in nature, and for years(both before the unification and for much of the time after) a womans husband was considered to be owned like property. Although in the past few centuries, especialy after the conquest of the surounding orc tribes, the status of men has risen and are now legaly considered to be equall(although there is still at times shades of previos sexist veiws evident, especialy in small towns and villages well outside of the major cities).

One tradition that is still observed by many traditional R'marth families is the practice of wearing complex networks of tatoos over the back neck and legs, often aranged in such a way as to covey a bit of family history or R'unorian mythology.

In addition to this, many houses are still designed in the traditional manner as spherical huts mounted upon some high surface such as a tree trunk or cliff face. The huts are usualy stone and clay and are conected to nearby huts through systems of walkways and ladders. Inside the huts sueualy contain three rooms, two sleeping areas and a family coking and eating room.

Women at the top! Good! Usually its us, but that's stupid. Luckily, it's becoming more equal in the R'marth tribe.
