one of the 9 human tribes inhabbiting the independent island kingdom of R'unor.

Long allies of the R'mart tribes, the Blaar'kr are useually assosiated with the fierce R'unorian military. Its often often belived they were the first to breed and domesticate the giant beetles known today as lurkers. They are also have the highest population of any of the other tribes. nearly 56% of the human population.

Physical Charecteristics.
The Blaa'kr usuly posses much lighter skin than most other R'unorian tribes. Ranging from a deep brownish tan to a pale cream color similar to the tribes inhabbiting the eastern nations such as The Santharian Kingdoms. Hair is useualy darker. Ranging from Black to grey with some more blueish shades sometimes prevelent.

Society and Culture.
Although in the post unification era there is little distinction between the varios R'unorian tribes, on special occasions however older traditions are still sometimes observed. Like all R'unorian tribes the Blaar'kr where to a degree matriarcal, men where at ne time considered to be there wives or mothers possesions with little if any legal rights. However in recent years especially (partialy due to increased orcish infulence) the possition of males is legally equall, and they are in general given more respect and better treatment.

Amoung traditions still pratised by more traditional households include the pircing of ears, nose, nipples, and eyebrows at a young age, silver or iron rings without gemstones are most popular.Tatooing is also quite popular but not as much so as in the R'mart tribe.

Many houses are still contructed froma combination of bone and thatch just as they were thousands of years ago, although modern stone and mortar structures are becoming more popular with each passing year.
