They used to tell us that Bay Farm Island, Alameda (SF bay area), California, once used to be all rice fields. Long time ago though....When grampas were little boys.....

I don't understand, I mean rice fields exist all throughout california, along with orange tree fields, banana tree fields, apple tree fields, tree fields in general, and lots and lots o fields of foods being grown.

But one should not forget such things are very recent developments (rice fields in California and such) and at the time they were introduced they were expensive and tiredsome projects.

Just think how the Europeans searched for the secret of porcelain the Chinese hid or how Japan stole the secret of silk?
Similar expensive was the introduction of new fruits or grain in Europe or other places.

Almost every corner in Japan a family owns an ancient rice field of there own kept in the family for generations. Its quite interesting to see how much room we have in california compared to No Room at all in Japan.

I made changes to the territory. I'm begging someone who knows Nybelmar to tell me if the names are correct. I really have a lot of trouble seeing the words given that they're usually right on top of moutains. Koldar or somebody, make sure the names are right, please!!

Just some minor Typos, I wish I had made the letters bigger, however they would've killed neat details then.

The rice plant is almost entirely a cultivated plant whose seeds are sown by farmers and whose grains are harvested for food. Rice plants require a lot of water and are thus grown in flooded field or in places where rainfall is heavy. They are commonly found in the southern part of Nybelmar, west of the Sohol Dolion and south of the Bothon Dolion, including around the city of Gelm, Coihaven, and Anpagan. They are also commonly grown on some of the southern islands of Nybelmar, including the southwestern part of Kaleman, the northern part of Jekin'thar, and the southern tip of Mohen Toi. They are rarely found anywhere else as they require good rainfall and warm climates.
