if one were fleshing out a tribe, which happens to have an extensive history,  wait- this is going to be slightly confusing...
[Anaea mulls over her question] [several minutes pass..]
[starting over]
okay - with concern pertaining to "appearance", "clothing", "housing", etc, etc...i can do this two ways:

1) give a comprehensive list of styles that have occurred within the categories over the years
fe:
appearance: once used rough animals skins as coverings--- blah blah blah-- now they ....

2) give what they wore/whatever at the peak of the tribal history [or modern]

[confused look washes over her face once more]

PLEASE does  anyone have any suggestions? help is always appreciated... ;)

and another thing- should i be writing in past tense? since they are not offically "around"?

I thought that the tribes were still around... :

It's a good idea, but would the styles have changed much - enough to warrent their mentioning... - I'm assuming that with some tribes it would have happened... it's worth thinking about

Well, the tribes are still around, though now within the borders of the United Kingdom of Santharia. So, though the Erpheronians now live in the Santharian province of Vardýnn, people from the south will still refer to them as Erpheronians.

BTW: Please keep the History tables in present tense, Anaea!

Who is not officially around? Are you planning a new tribe?

I would say, describe what they are wearing now, with some remarks if it was very different in formr times (not starting with the furry part, lol)

If it is an extinct tribe,describe what they did wear in the height of their evolution.

I agree with keeping their dress relevant to present times.  The only exception I might see is if their clothing underwent a dramatic change in a short period of time.  ie.  when joining united into Santharia they also adopted the clothing f say New Santhala.

Files have been replaced again, but the question remains how long this will last. SMF support will have a look at the security problem.

It has been hacked. The third time in 3 days. I need to replace the changed files again (won't happen before evening) - and then see what the SMF support recommends as a strategy.
