Song: Ripples in the Dream Pool

Ok, so I thought I might try writing a song. I got some inspiration. The name of this song is the same as the site I built for my character (The link is below). It sort of has a sad tune to it. I added guitar chords for those of you who play the guitar. It took me a while to put it to music (and my fingers hurt courtesy of a steel string guitar). Blah blah blah blah.....

Ripples in the Dream Pool

Shadows dance across the sky
The sun eclipsed by the moon
Autumn come silently as twilight descends
And the Giltra sings her tune

The phoenix rises over the desert
The phoenix dies, ashes 'cross the sand
The unicorn cries in her forest
Her tears stain the land

Ripples wander through the dream pool
Mountains erode by the echo of a black sheep
An elven girl sings calm and cool
To lull her father to a drunken sleep

A town lit by a dozen burning houses
Somewhere a baby starts to cry
A willow weeps tears into a silver pond
Alone, an old man sighs

The sky so grey, so restless
In the clouds a beast lets out a roar
Lightning stand out 'gainst the midnight
And the stars begin to pour

Ripples wander through the dream pool
A brother sharpens his knife
Bloodied daggers, bloodied tools
And eyes cry desperately for life

A heart breaks into fragments
That catch and scatter the light
Sad rainbows shone so softly
Until they vanish in the night

Silver thread beaded with tear drops
The fragile web so soon torn away
Immortal crescent watches from her throne
Empty starlight dulls her until day

Ah chords...very very handy.....

Want me to sing this to (see morning songs)? I guess you probably know exactly what you want huh? I may add viola part to if that's OK.

You play the Viola, and I'll play the guitar, and we can start a band! ^_^ ::chuckles:: Anything you could do to help would be great. I wouldn't mind a viola part in it. You might play it and see how it sounds. I tried to give a very mystic sound to it and used Am a lot to try to express that, but I don't know..

I also play the guitar (looks...and the piano and the violin and the flute and...yadda yadda. Music's my pet subject. I won't get started

) But better If I can hear what you have in mind. Right....Play the guitar part to sound recorder on CD quality (in two parts if nessesary) and email it to me, or grab my MSN and transfer it to me. Best also if you use a plug in mic, many puters have a mics built in, but then you can hear the hard drive (yuck). We'll take it from there.

@.@; I've been trying to get my mic to work for a while now. No luck. I haven't any gadget for recording on to a CD, as far as I know. I did have a tape recorder but it doesn't work at all and it sounds very staticy. I would ask for your number and call you and play it for you but my phone bills alerady going to be high as it is and it might be difficult to play and hold the phone at the same time. I do have a headset, but it's hard to use.

I'll see what I can do about getting something to record on a CD. That's probably the best bet.

You sure to play a lot of instruments. o.o; I'm still a beginner at guitar (though I'm getting better with practice)!

Well, I finally got a program for free off the internet to record part of it (only the first two stanza). The problem I have is that the static is really bad (in some places more than others). Since static is high frequency, I should be able to erase it with a mixer, but I think my cheapy free program won't let me get to it. @.@;

So many we can call this a rough draft and have Wren do the final. ^_^;;
