The Chant of the Twelve

Chant for sweet and wise Eyasha
Grey of eyes, quiet of voice
Willow waist, a beauty subtle
Guide our faltering hands with yours

Grothar come and blow your storms
Across a land stagnant with sun
Change your mood as quick as winds do
Clear the snow and rain for sunshine

God Nehtor heal us, seal our skin
Let the babes live, let the old die
Tears and smiles, our joy, our sorrow
Nehtor loves all, still he mourns

Arvins swift come to your hunt
Holding deer and fox and rabbit
Listen, hold, for swift-set quicksteps
Pawprints chase across new snow

Queprur, dark and cold as starshine
See us, await us in the night
For we all must pass from Caelereth
To the Iron Mistress' arms

Urtengor, our hammer-lord
Heft your steel and form our land
So we may walk from the clay-beds
Now we see and love your world

Baveras, maiden of water
Hold our ocean in your arms
May the fish swim out to greet us
May your band of pearls be ours

Jeyriall who tends our fieldgold
Bloom flowers, ripen our sweet fruit
Our grain will not rot in the meadows
Under you, our crops will strengthen

What, Seyella, see you for us?
Visions of a dark time yet?
Time as beads on golden chains
Run short on our happiness

Armeros, brother in war
May our swords always be sharp
Of might our arms in bloody battle
Our horses proudly cross firefields

Etherus, though you pour red wine
Though you show us golden flesh
Do not let our eyes be widened
Preserve us from sweet desire

May the sun of Foiros always
Shine down on our Caelereth
May our times be good in plenty
May we happily face death

I'm not sure if this shouldn't go in the religious forum... but I'll put it here first.

What do you people think? It's a chant to the twelve, as you can see, a prayer uttered in days of plenty, to preserve the good times.
