I should be in London saturday... only for a short time, and on Heathrow - I'm just going via London to Montreal. But I'll try to wave to Wren
Frankly, the thought of meeting you all terrifies me  even though it also sounds appealing in a way. But who knows, with time I might gather the courage and funds... or maybe some Santharian will win the lottery big time and invite us all

Anyway, I'm down for getting back to Europe.  Hmmm how bout Switzerland that's centrally located in Europe, and Europe is centrally located between the U.S. and Asia.  Hmm, Zurich was a wonderful place.

Well, I offered already once, that everybody is welcome in my house. For a huge gathering of a lot Santharians, give me another year or one and a half to finish the last room and the third toilet (we might need it), then I should have enough room for a lot of people. Summertime might come in handier though than november. , then we could use the garden as well (and the nearby trees, )
Maybe the best time would be during the next medieval festival !

Seriously - when is that festival? it WOULD be a great opportunity and time to meet indeed.
Germany is also not so far away for me, so I even could catch a train or a bus I think.

If we want to attent not only the march through the town, but a tournament, I have to buy tickets in november the year before. In fact, Artimidor as a foreigner would probably get them easier than me, LOL!

Yes indeed, train for me to there would take about 1 and a half day, but tis nothing. And with Interrail such a train trip costs about 3k crowns (about 250 euros), but that is Norway... our prices go trough the roof.

I guess this occasion indeed would be really perfect for a Santharian meeting, yeah  It's also still quite central, not even that far away from the Santharian HQ than Switzerland, so I guess it's reachable from Vienna by train as well within a hours.

Also that you'd have some rooms for the guests, Talia, sounds perfect, and 2005 would also be fine with me (if the world still stands then, that is...).

Question of course is how many we'll get together (and how many you could harbour) - especially for people from overseas the trip could be a bit expensive. But there is at least ample time to think about it and perhaps combine the meeting with a regular vacation you planned in Europe or something. But definitely, I'd go with this idea, this sound fabulous

Ah ha!  and once again another dream is taking on form to become a reality.

This will work great.  That way I can go to the festival as part of my medieval re-enactment stuff as well.  Hmmm I wonder what kingdom the part of Germany falls into in the SCA.
