While working on a revision of the demons, I needed to look at the Netherworld concept as well. And having to look into this subject anyway, I thought I could do this revision  as well, for half the work is already done, if I'm finished with the demons and I need the concept of it.
However, I would like to change it slightly, f.e. I'd like it to be another "plane of exsistance",(from the developers view) though that does not mean, that Xarls ideas will be abandoned, they will be mentioned as believes - as most of it can only be described as "people think", and "it is said or rumoured". This way, I can incorporate pretty everything.

To say it again more clearly: I would like to have as "working hypothesis " of the developer, that the "place" the humans call Netherworld is a space/time dimension parallel to the space/time dimension Caelereth is in. At certain places/locations (Osthemangor), the probability to enter the "other world" is greater than normal. summoning makes the probability bigger as well. That is the same concept Rayne has described in other words in the weavers (the fabric between the world gets thinner - just that there is no fabric, it is ust a very good illustration. The void has nothing to do with it. The Netherworld could/would however be (only we developers can know this)a disk as well, a bubble in the void like the world of Caelereth.

Any objections?
