What do you think, we are, Art? Children that need a strong lead? *innocent smile* :)

Our story is highly mythical. The elves are searching for the perfect spirit! They do these things not for their own pleasures but to gain an ultimate view on the universe. The elves want to add the good 'skills' of the others to gain more experience to find the 'final' spirit and to reach a state you call 'demi-gods' which leads together with the 'sins' (interpreted this way by the gods) against the Dream to the Rage of the Gods!

You obviously take this toooo.. visual! :)
I said IMO they used magic to adopt the skills of other races to improve their own. That's not nice but in a time when the elves were the unquestioned rulers over the world the 'lower races' would have taken this as a great honor at first, I think.

The clou is: They want to gain the highest spiritual level they can get, but when they start to mix the 'Dream' up (so to say) they become more and more interested in the 'things of flesh' and power and so on and leave the 'trail of light'!

We're trying to explain your simplified key-word : Demi-Gods. And transform it into a greater, bigger story (when the elves are always good in this age, it's just boring, or don't you agree?), which can be the equivalent to the main story in "The Smirallion".

At least, >>>I am<<< trying to do that! :)

BTW: As I reread the second half of your posting it sounds exactly like that what Curgan and me are discussing all the time only with slightly(= much :) ) more details.

Hey, maybe you can then finish the next chapters of your story when nobody is disturbing you any more!

Koldar, thinking of a big dragon right in front of  Art's cell door.

Only joking! ;)

Bye, Koldar
