Faugar was busy again and has completed pictures of an Elf and a Human for the Races section - I will integrate them next update and make an own menu entry (leading to a submenu) for the Races too.

Anyone out there who'd like to do detailed descriptions on humans, elves or halflings (as an example see the entry about dwarves)?

I am still in the process of painting a gnome... Things don't always go as I'd hope...

In the description of Dwarves, they are described as being a ped and a half high. A ped being 13 inches, this would make them 19-1/2 inches high, or about half a meter....I'm sure nobody means them to be quite *that* short....

Hmmm... Don't know exactly where you have your ped-measurement from. As far as I know Coór'Efér once created the ped (and somewhere stated its exact length too), however, I always used the ped as being 1 meter in length. This is because the Latin word pes, pedis means foot (or the distance you can manage by walking further, putting one foot in front of the other). In many German fantasy books there often is a measurement which is called "Schritt" (step), meaning the length of one step (which is usually 1 meter). This is to what I refer to.

So you will notice that all beasts in the bestiary I discribed or wherever I used measurements I used peds being meters ("Schritte", steps). And as I have done the most bestiary entries etc. I fear we have to change certain references in Coór'Efér's work...

And eventually we should add the "Ped" to the Compedium, so that there are no more misunderstandings...

Arg! now I have to change three of the measurements in the Brownie language!....I'll try to find the location, as its the only reference to it on the page that I know of.
BTW, is there any way to make the compendium more user-friendly?

Tell me what you have in mind and I consider it... Probably a search function would be fine, eh?

Hello all! It's been a minute since I poked my nose in here. Can't remember if I ever did anything useful.

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
