Ok, here it goes, have you ever read the history of the Avennorians? anyone?

Well, here is one thing that falls into the misc category:

the history of the Avennorians mention a ship going on a small trip of one year at sea without seeing dry land. Uh... sorry, did they say one year? How can a small ship like this could carry one year of drinkable water and food? That's not mentioning the effects of scorbu and mutinie. Face it, what would you think if you were on a ship for one year without land in sight at any moment during that time? I think you would have pushed the captain overboard and elected a new captain to return home after three monrths.

Not only that, how can a small ship like this colonize a new land without the help of its mother land? If you read correctly, only one ship ever came back from exploration, and it never found the lands whre the shipwrecked crew landed. If you continue to read, the shipcrew had women who gave birth on the ship. and later on, they have a kingdom! How do they do that? Do they multiply like 'roaches? Okay, maybe a fleet of 20 to 25 ships could do that since the ships at that time were small, but only one? I doubt it.

Later in their history, they say that they went on a seven hundred years war across the sea. How in hell are they suppose to do that? Especially since they were affected by the War of the Chosen a lot and keep warring with the elves for lumber and land. They don't even have the resources for such a war. No war can last that long and especially with a superior adversary. And for warring for seven hundred years they would need to raze all the trees on their lands to produce enough ships throughout the centuries. Not only that, but why didn't their adversary simply boarded their own ships and kicked their butts all over the future Santharian kingdom since they were taht superior? And above all, they can,t even win a battle against less numerous elves! How are they suppose to be able to fight a much superior enemy with the small amount of man power they have? Ok, maybe raids and privateering, but not open warfare, they owuld have been wiped out of the map and history.

One last thing I have noted in their history was that the elves purified the Avennorians after the war of the Chosen. Why would they do something llike that to an enemy that almost raised their entire forest and killed their people over wood and land? I really don't get that one yet.

other than that, I see nothing else that seems illogical and unrealistic.

I think there is a missing part and the end of the history of these people. The Erphenorians (I think that was their name, the ones who united Santharia.) are typical humans in appearance, no? So what would you do if you saw Avennorians with a medieval mind? I think they would have wiped out the most of them due to their freakish appearance. They would have even thought that they were demon child. although, not all of them would have been killed, some small villages and hamlets of them would still exist after that, but the people would be in extinction mode. lol

Ok, thanks, didn't know where to post these probs except here since they were talkign about boats and stuff.

Hmmmm. Interesting points brought up. Perhaps under history? I'm afraid I know nothing about these events, so cannot be of much help.

Yeah, in the Avennorian history in the Races menu among The Humans in Southern Sarvonia first on the row, Avennorian.

At the end of the doc.

"The world is big, who knows what is possible and what is hidden in these vast lands."

Hello all! It's been a minute since I poked my nose in here. Can't remember if I ever did anything useful.

Ah, too bad that internet is so restricted in China, Ferra. Can't be much fun surfing the web that way if Big Brother's watching you... Hope you enjoy your stay nevertheless!

Hi, dear Arti and other developers!

This year I am in China and cannot use any Google services including YouTube. For this reason I stopped uploading new Nepris videos. I can also not read any comments there.

It just crossed my mind that this information might be useful to you.

Cheers
