About the Elemene Tabulata
he Elemene Tabulata is a constantly updated tome, started in ancient times by an unknown Daran gnome, and dedicated to the recording of all things related to the practice of alchemy. It was begun by gnomes long ago and is still being rapidly expanded on by todayís gnomish alchemists. Contained in its pages is a detailed list of all the known basic elements, sorted in to the Trej Blaks, or the three Main Elements - the castes of categorization - along with a fourth for Gnuuth (Fire), which is not considered an actual element, but as a catalyst or bonding agent between the different elements (as is the common view in the similar elven and human concepts). Generally, solid elements belong to Behta (Earth), liquids belong to Bassha (Water) and gaseous-like elements belong to Giagula (Air).

The tome also contains different formulae and processes (Phormei), and elemental tests (Euxperi), describing their effects, outcomes, and procedures in striking detail. Different theories (Openti, singular Opentium) and abstracts are also present in the book, providing a particular individual or groupís outlook on a certain subject or issue of alchemy. For example, in the book, one might find Stujuck Bilgeís outlook on Fire as a real element, or Nolan Drinkbrewer's recipe for his popular alcoholic beverage, svaq.

THE ERA OF THE SOUTHERN WARS
(YEARS 825 A.S. - 1.062 A.S.)
1.020 First major Revision
The first foreword is written by Gnurk Portley, and is one hundred and twenty-seven pages long. Major revisions are done on the original descriptions of the elements, the two existing Books - Trigusteme and Cylgomin are elaborated on and the book of Larcadia is created, along with the Table of Elements. An index is also added.

THE AGE OF REBUILDING
(YEARS 1.062 A.S. - 1.144 A.S.)
1.120 Second major Revision
Second major revision takes place, after numerous smaller ones; contains mostly additions to the existing books.

THE AGE OF DISCOVERY
(YEARS 1.144 A.S. - 1.440 A.S.)
1.186 Third major Revision
Third major revision, after many smaller ones, contains more additions, and adds about six new elements to its list.

1.255 Fourth major Revision
The fourth major revision is done; a few revisions to existing content, eight new elements are added, along with a new Book of the Almithrite. The book is added mostly due to the findings of a forgotten alchemist dated around 1200 b.S., and a recent breakthrough in the search for a strong mithril-like alloy.

1.341 Fifth major Revision
The Table of Elements is colour-coded for easier reading, many revisions and updates are made, and two elements are taken off the list after being proven to be natural alloys of two existing elements. The forgotten writings of the old Almithrite that were added in the last major update were proven to be false and are removed; the Praesidii induce a more strict scanning process for the addition of new content.

1.400 Sixth major Revision
The sixth major revision takes place; many updates, a new index format, and a new foreword is written by Gert Nimroy.

THE TIME OF REUNION
(YEARS 1.540 A.S. - TODAY)
1.549 Seventh major Revision
The seventh major revision is done; some small updates, and the Book of the Ceterus is added.

1.655 Most recent Revision
Eighth and most recent major revision; many small updates, and a new foreword is written.
