WIND
SPELLS:
PHASE
SHIFT
(LEVEL
VIII) |
Spell Effect. A very
powerful spell, Phase Shift can turn the caster into “wind”, making him/her
invulnerable to physical attacks. The caster is technically “nonexistent”, and
thus able to pass trough anything smaller than half his/her size. (This by the
way also works in the other direction: The caster cannot pick anything up etc.
by his own hands. He/she can however still use magic,
and be damaged by magic.)
The amazing effect is accomplished by allowing the
wind part of the
cár’áll to dominate the other three,
and by allowing the Ahm principle
dominate the Soor principle. Thus, the
caster becomes “ethereal” for a short amount of time. It should be noted,
however, that this does not make the caster invisible - only slightly
transparent.

Counter Measures/Enhancing Measures.
A mage protected by this spell is still vulnerable to
magical attacks. Thus, this spell is dispelable, and the mage can be injured
by magic.
To enhance this spell, silver dust on your hands can greatly reduce the
difficulty of this spell, as well as increase its duration.
