Spell Effect. Open wounds usually become
infected, resulting in even more damage to the victim. The spell Close Wound
will - by using the power of Xeuá -
close a gaping wound, rendering it resistent to infection and generally making
it heal faster. However, this spell does not heal the wound - an unlucky hit on
the newly closed wound may rip it open again. Therefore Close Wound is mainly
used as a first aid after combat before further healing is applied.

Casting Procedure. The mage has to
pour blood on the wound in question, while reciting the formula. If successfully
cast, the blood will dry at once, leaving the wound closed. After that, the
spell is complete, and cannot be dispelled.

Target. Any living being with blood in its
veins.

Reagents. Blood, of the same race/beast as
the one the spell is cast upon.

Casting Time. Quite short, about 10
seconds.

Duration. The spell does not have any
duration – the effect is permanent.

Counter Measures/Enhancing Measures.
The spell cannot really be countered as the effect is instantly applied. It also
can't be directly enhance, but additional healing spells should be cast
afterwards to complete the healing.
