The Heath of Jernais

Image description.

A southwest view of the heath from within the city of Jernais, with the prominent Hèckra Volcano and the High Fores in the background. The various purple and yellow blossoms in the heathland are evident that the season is late spring. The eastern edge of Bitterstone Moor is also visible in the center, including the winding stream which cascades down the rocky cliff into Bitterstone Lake. Xazure herons like those depicted in the foreground typically wander in and out of the moor. Picture drawn by Bard Judith.
