uess I should start at the beginning. Well...I am named after Eric Clapton (he was in a band Called "Derek and the Dominoes" when he wrote 'Layla'.) I spent the first fifteen years of my life in Arizona worried as to whether or not one of the stray bullets would cause more than a hole in my wall, before I moved in with my dad (they're divorced) and his new wife in Northern California. Began high school. After a year of high school filled with everything from football to illegal substances, my dad and his wife get a divorce and my sister is illegally taken from us.
After the first 16 some odd years of unpleasantness, my point of view takes a 180 and for some yet to be explained reason, I become optimistic (much better than pessimism I must say). Now I am usually happy, despite things that happen. I spend most of my time making music from on of the many instruments I play (personal favorites are Trombone, Sax, and Piano), writing music for anything from soloists to 40 piece big bands, and writing for our wonderful website Santharia.
At the time of this writing, High school is nearly over, I have a job, I have no self loathing issues, and life is smiling. |
