THE MISCELLANEOUS WEAPONS

RETURN TO MAIN WEAPONS OVERVIEW

These are the unorthodox weapons that do not belong to another category. Such weapons are often ones translated from tools, such as the whip, or meant for stealth, such as the steel fan. - Currently we know the following kinds of Miscellaneous Weapons in Caelereth (listed alphabetically):

The Armoured Fan

ARMOURED FAN, THE
The Armored Fan is one of the most elegant weapons in Santharia. The Fan consists of metal plates, each containing a sharp edge, that slide together so that it may be folded or unfolded with the snap of the rest. Clerics, thieves, and Kar'ii use the Armored Fan for battle, but it is more often seen being used by dancers in shows and at festivals, being rather popular among women because of its light weight and ability fold into a small, compact defense weapon.

CORRAN'LOH, THE
Coorán’lóh (lit. "die at the bottom") are small blades/spear heads which are attached to either the outside or inside of the wearer's boots which have a small spring release system attached to the boot and the blade/spear head. When the wearer clicks his/her boots together releasing the spring the blades/spear heads quickly slide out from the little hole within the boot with enough force to pierce the skin and cause severe damage.

TER'EI'VIKH VINE JAR, THE
Consists of a container with a strangling vine seedling, and a pouch of a rare fungus that grows underneath the Drifting Woods. When the two are combined, the vine will start growing at an amazing speed, and entangle everything nearby. These Vine Jars are used as a defensive weapon, as well as a charge for various traps. Particulary effective against humans due to the frightening effect, this weapon was one of the reasons the Morchini never launched a serious assault against the Ter'ei'Vikh after the great war in ca. 1800 b.S.
