Update Statement. While the World Cup fever is roaming, we have nevertheless prepared an update for you - though it is a bit reduced compared to regular ones. However, a very important issue has been addressed this week, at least we started to work on it and can show first results: I speak of the Library reorganization, which has been already long overdue. Check out the new design of the "Frethoni Book of Fables", the first example on how we plan to treat Library entries in the future - for further specifics on this read more below in the update details. As for other stuff we've put up this week: Two new musical pieces were integrated, the lullaby "Dusk is Here" and a new background music to our Flash MovieSantharian Teaser Movie (both by our now almost official Bachelor of Music, Gean Firefeet). Vesk is also back again in development with the Myrddin Falcon and Alysse with the Rimrunner Terrier (illustrated by Bard Judith). Additionally we have first works by new members: "Sleep Little Rider" by Torscha and the fire spell Fireblast by Thorgas Ironforge. - Hope you enjoy!

In the coming updates more books for the Library will be made, realizing the new concept of organisation step by step. Also in the works are entries on the Eyelian Order of the Wings, the Ghereghut Cave Trolls, more spells - and some pictures promised already in the last update. See you next time!

Bestiary Added entry on the Myrddin Falcon, a magificent raptor, said to be created and beloved by the Father of the Sky, the Weathergod Grothar (Vesk Lyricahl)
Added
entry on the Rimrunner Terrier, a small playful dog know mainly in southern Sarvonia, at the area of the Rimmerins Ring (Alysse the Likely, pic Bard Judith)
Added
entry on the Shadow Drake, mythical beasts of the Móh'rhím, the shadow elves, with whom these beasts are said to be bonded from birth on to act as guardians and spies (Drasil Razorfang)
Herbarium Added entry on the Waterfruit Tree, a tropical tree, native to Nybelmar (Miraran Tehuriden)
Library Initiated a major Library rework, resulting in a complete restructuring of the first few Library stories. At the moment only the "Frethoni Book of Fables" (consisting of 7 stories written by 3 different authors) was converted to the new Books/Authors overview system. This allows you to navigate through the Library either by book title or author and by viewing the stories/overviews alone, without the main menu. You can also download single stories or the whole book, view content of books and read overviews collected on one single page etc. Please note however that the rework of the Library will take months if not years years to complete and that the Library menu itself will remain somewhat fragementary and still difficult to navigate until everything is finished. Changes of some icons and other smaller details may also still take place (Artimidor)
Updated lullaby
"Dusk is Here", adding musical version of Bard Judith's song to ensure that Santharian babies get their good night sleep (music Gean Firefeet)
Added song
"Sleep Little Rider" to our lullaby collection (Torscha Reines)
Magic Added Level 6 Fire Spell - Fireblast to our magic spells collection (Thorgas Ironforge)
Misc. Added entry on the Iuriás and the Kýrass Swords, lightweight curved weapons of the Kaýrrhem elves in eastern Nybelmar (Darmont Lonearcher, revived and revised by Drasil)
Movies Updated the Flash MovieSantharian Teaser Movie, substituting the former non-Santharian music with a piece exclusively composed for the Santharian Dream by Gean. Some small passages and the speed of the movie were slightly adjusted to fit better to the theme (Artimidor, music Gean Firefeet)
Team Updated membership page of Erutan Argon, replacing his photo with two new ones (Erutan Argon)
Updated membership page of Vesk Lyricahl, also substituting his old photo with a more recent one (Vesk Lyricahl)

Update Statement. This week's Monday update brings three new pictures drawn by Bard Judith, showing once more her artistic versatility - be it a Kuglim'Ura barbarian, a travelling gnome or a Northern Sarvonian landscape, there's nothing Judy's digital brush cannot handle! Stormraven hits twice this week with the Avennorian Cutlass and the Drape-Silk Spider, and Miraran expands the Nybelmarian flora with the Pillar Tree. Furthermore  our magic department delivers no less than three more spells from different elements, plus a long overdue update on the Fire Magic School done by our fire magic expert Marvin Cerambit.

Next update might prove to be a bit more diffcult to handle as the Football World Cup will take away development and update time, but we'll see what we can do. In the works at least is an illustration of the Sawis sheep, and maybe we'll see a whole Thunderfoot as well soon stomping in from the North. Drasil works on more weapons, also a poisons and a cheeses overview is being collated, and a list of precious gems plus their illustrations will slowly but surely make it on the site as well! See you next update!

Bestiary Added entry on the Drape-Silk Spider, a large variety of arachnids, producing webs, which are often used for bandaging (Stormraven)
Herbarium Added entry on the Pillar Tree, a large, rare tree of the northern shores of the continent of Nybelmar (Miraran Tehuriden)
Updated entry on the White Birch Tree, adding image of a young male of the Kuglimz'Ura tossing another log of birch wood into the fire. The picture was also added as a third illustration to the Kuglimz entry (pic Bard Judith)
Library Added lullaby "Dusk is Here" to our Santharian Lullabies collection (Bard Judith)
Magic Added Level 8 Earth Spell - Petrify to our magic spells collection (Pikel Thunderstone)
Added
Level 9 Fire Spell - Draconic Effigy to our magic spells collection (Twen Araerwen)
Added Level 2 Water Spell - Ice Touch to our magic spells collection (Mina Aylwin)
Updated entry on the School of Fire Magic, expanding the already existing entry once started by Fox and Xarl by adding the still missing sections Spheres and Spell Classifications with a bunch of example spells. The reagents section still needs to be updated at a later date (Marvin Cerambit)
Misc. Added entry on the Avennorian Cutlass, a broad, curved bladed sword, commonly used by those who are going to sea (Stormraven)
Places Updated entry on the Continent of Sarvonia, adding three overview images representing the continent, including a new image showing an idyllic landscape from Northern Sarvonia (pics Bard Judith & Talos)
Races Updated entry on the Gnomes, adding three overview images representing the race, including a brand new gnomish traveller drawn by Bard Judith (pics Bard Judith & Eshoh)

Update Statement. More spells needed? We got them - three Earth spells this time and one for the Element of Fire, and still more to come in the next updates! And do you see the runes on the update picture to the left? That's the completely revised ancient Styrásh font, a masterpiece by a member of the first hour, Koldar - don't miss it! Within the next week we'll also discuss details for the Santharian Tribes Project, Part III! Pikel Thunderstone

Special Announcement. Finally here we go with another cheery welcome to a brand new permanent member of the Santharian Dream development team! Pikel's mentor Talia and the rest of the team congratulate to this accomplishment: Applause therefore for our druidic expert Pikel Thunderstone from Grass Valley, California (US)!

Last week we already put up Pikel's masterwork, the Almatrar Forest, along with his membership page, so today we're happy to make his joining of the Dream Team official and reward him with his newly gained rights. Though mainly interested in everything related to the druids, be it their culture or their magic, Pikel has also shown his versatility by contributing Bestiary entries like the Caracal Cat or the gigantic Thunderfoot, Herbarium stuff like the Hrugchuck Grass, writing magic spells and a dwarven fairy-tale plus two Places entries. Quite a list already of which our new members can be very proud of. More spells and druidic stuff is still in the works, and we're looking forward to many more contrubitions bearing the Pikel quality seal!

Of course
the Santharians are once again cordially invited to join Pikel's Inauguration Party at the Santharian Development Board and welcome our new member. Be there! - Talia Sturmwind, Mentor & Artimidor, Webmaster
