Guess you didn't see my post about altering your page-length.  Thirteen pages for you is only 3 pages for me.  :)

Well I'm stuck, Severine.   We are probably close enough to Blackwine's office for him to see us, but I'm not sure how you wanted to play this out so I stuck to dialog.

By the way, Phiona just made a suggestion that could be either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid.   :wink2     I am thinking it is the latter, and that's without considering who the leader is...

:speechless

On the next Sarvonia 90210 Phiona Wildfire...uh I mean Whitefire makes out with Severine Hello! uh I mean Halo!

:kiss

:hug

:loveeyes

:heart

Can't you feel the love in the air? lol  :pet

Didn't expect that one till later on honey.lol As for Marlus Balckwine, He'll walk past us...but you'll have your back turned to him. Inquistius will feel Severine's dark beserker curse...something that Marlus now has inside of him, btu will not feel Halo coming from him. Since the man is on urgent business at the fort that is being made (and is almost done), he continues on his way but tells his soldiers to keep their eyes on us at all times. After leaving the barracks, we go back to the inn. By then, everyone else will be there. then the whole episode with the blind girl saying something that she shouldn't say will occur and sevy, phiona, and eryk gets kicked out of the inn for defending her. Sev tells Tierria to stay at the inn, and tells Penrith to watch her. The blind girl will be picked up by her brother and by her request our three homless heroes will stay at their house. later on that night, Severine will have a private conversation with Luca, and tells her to explore the fort that is being made (ripp and luca will hear about this from a group of women talking while working the fields. sev and phiona might hear about a fort being made). Tierria will go out in the night to see Severine (who'll be acting rather strangely after Phiona's last post.lol) and the two will have a talk. Luca meanwhile manages to sneak into the fort and take a look around (details on it in another post or i just might e-mail luca about it). well she manages to make it...but the fault that got her in trouble with sev and the others ends up getting her into trouble again. Marlus (who is at the fort) has her imprisioned, and believes that my group sent her there. But he wants proof so he sends his soldiers sneaking around. we fight them off and the ones whop are not being watched stay at the tavern while the others hide out. When we finally realize that luca was captured (with some help from pick) I take Phiona and Elra with me to go through the forest and arrive into an opening where the fort is. We sneak inside to rescue Luca and probably end it all. (well for this chapter...)
The rest will for a fake party at the tavern where you'll gather many of the soldiers...get them drunk...and lock them a large hidden room that is used for storage. You'll also try to get some of the other soldiers drunk...and if they fight or resist...then you elinimate them. After freeing Luca we try to escape to get the others, but end up being surrounding by Marlus and his men. That's when Marlus sees Phiona. well four of us against possibly twenty...more are outside guarding...

Heh. The others head to the fort and try to check from the trees what is going on. Pick gives a sign that there is trouble inside, and the others (with the help of the caravan guards, the rebels,Ren, and Deren) attack the outside and work your way inside. Severine and Phiona take on Marlus. Phiona gets beaten by Marlus over and over...making Sev goes nuts...loses his mind...and becomes the incredible hulk. He starts attacking Marlusd who in the heat of battle goes hulk too and the two start battling. Marlus seems like he has the upper hand but gets shot in the arm by Elra. and when he sees his soldiers losing...he escpaes. sev then turns on those he love and care about, anbd ends up losing consciousness.

Meanwhile...the Ivory Fox kills Crestus.

anyways...that's what i have for now. i'll speak more about the encounter with the rebels later.

Just out of curiousity are you going to be scripting us the entire story.:noidea :veryconfused

Severine: Woah... that plotting is pretty tight, as in restricting.  You know you must allow for some flexability and unexpected plot twists, because there will be some in this type of creative writing.  But on the other hand, I really appreciate that you have the story planned so well out... it gives us something to look forward to and we know you won't leave us hanging.  :thumbup

Ripp: Its not carved in stone.  Severine is just letting us know the direction he expects the story to go, at least I am pretty sure that's it.  With at 9 separate people writing about 10 very different characters, I trust there will be a lot of deviation from the main "script", so we need a little herding or the flock won't stay together. (Did I just compare us all to sheep? Baa-aa-aa! )  Anyway, I believe there are certain parts in the story where we need to adhere to the scripting, mainly to give each PC a chance in the spotlight... for instance, the Marlus/Sevy showdown (first round) should not be interupted by any well-meant heroics... not even by Phiona (and he's my villain!).

Everyone: I think that Severine is going by the CDs we all posted.  My suggestion is that if he scripts something that is against your PC's grain, or even just seems strange enough to bug you, please bring it to his attention with a suggestion for an alternate twist. (No fair just saying, "Hey that sucks!"  Let's keep it constructive.)   :lol

Phiona
- Second in command... er, plotting that is.  :p

Regarding the kiss:  Duh... we planned this to happen sooner, you know, the thank you kiss?  it was put off to now, actually.   Sheesh...  :\

"Sev then turns on those he love and care about, and ends up losing consciousness" -Seveine

Please, please, please don't have him faint!  Gah!  I can't stand it when people do that.  Better to have someone from our side knock him out... maybe after being distracted?
Perhaps one of our mages can do the honor?  Hit him with a sleep spell or freeze him or something.... anything other than a cheezy fainting spell.  That's all I am asking!

Phiona
-thinks the only reason anyone should loose consciousness is from massive loss of blood or a huge lump on the head.

Ripp & Luca: I wonder if you guys realize that all the "outlying farms" are inside the wall's perameters?  These people built the wall around the village, more to keep them in and to keep strangers out.

But feel free to hunt around in the surrounding woods, any cabins or other dwelling farther out would be deserted.  All the villagers are either inside the walls or... elsewhere (which is what we need to find out).

Edit:  In fact, one or more of you could add a recent memory to your post about coming across one of the deserted(and looted) dwellings.  Maybe a hunter or trapper's cabin?  Just a thought.

Severine:  I just occurred to me that if there whould be any kind of fighting (yeah right, IF) that these people would rather capture us than kill us... we are all young and strong, and would make great slave labor, don't ya think?  I do.   :evil
I'm thinking that what better way to find out what's happening that to find out the HARD WAY!  Whoot!

Edit: Another idea- that a few of us allow ourselves to be captured... ooh the possibilities!  :pet

I apologize for my wordy IC posts.  Phiona was meant to be an extremely introspective person who writes a lot and has very low social skills.  I hope that my writing has brought this concept across clearly enough.  It's just something new I am trying for a change, I mean with Phiona.  I have other PCs in other games who aren't like this at all.

It's damn-hard writing an anti-social character.  :b

Hehehe sorry if i sounded to restricting. Like Phiona said, I'm just telling what I have in mind. The real action's coming up soon, and I need to come up with a general idea of what's going to happen and share it with the rest of you. One of the main points of this story is to put everyone in hard situations and have them get out of it.

Phiona: Actually, I was thinking about him being knocked out last night. I was thinking when he's about to be distracted by Tierria something inside of him stops him, and that gives one of u the chance to knock me out.

Elra: Don't worry about it sweets. I'm caught between school, work, and seeing my girlfriend out of state every so often (whose middle name is Tierria...). As long as you post, it's all good.

Regarding the kiss: Heh, I was just playing around. I don't know I felt like it was some teen drama for a moment...and yes...i wanted an excuse to use the smileys! so sue me!!! lol

Well...back to posting...

Right fluffy one? :pet

Just to tell everyone. If you're having problems with what to do, just ask me or Phiona and we'll take care of it for you. I'm willing to give everyone the chance to be creative with your findings, so you'll have plenty freedom instead of doing exactly what the moderator says. I'll be giving more chances like this in the future as well.

Directed to Sev:

What's the deal with the NPC women we're supposed to meet? Will you tell me (and Ripp) what they say (well..not quote for quote, but the basic info) and leave us to NPC them ourselves, or will you be playing them in your own posts? Both work for me, so yah....its all good. *goes to do dishes* yay.....

Hmm. I won't be directing NPCs unless they are mentioned in the NPC list. Other NPCs the rest of you can handle. Basically, the women here are in fear. They work hours and hours while the soliders just walk around and watch them. They are nervous when visiters arrive but try not to be, so there won't be any suspiscion. If you're going to start asking questions, they might answer in a low voice. They will not tell you EXACTLY what's going on, but when they answer you, they might give you an impression that something is. And by the way...yoiu two are being watched. But not by a soldier...

Eryk, sorry about not posting as Tierria anytime soon. Ever since I started working a month ago, life has been a little hectic at times, with me working the graveyard shift during the weekdays and me working evenings during the weekends, well my mind has been on sleep most of the time. So you all will have to try and bear with me which you all have...thank the gods.lol And thank you Phiona for helping out whenever you can. Sev's group and ria's group will be the only two that actually get useful info even though the other two will come upon suspicious situations.

For Penrith and Elra: you two will come upon a soldier eyeing the woman who works in the store. He'll be close to the counter as if he's a guard. In truth, he's actually some scumbag who takes a third of the woman's pay at the end of each day...a dirty user. In your posts, try to give off that impression.

Dark Morpher: Please log in with the correct ID in the future, since newbies are only supposed to post in the CD section.

The following characters have been dropped from PC to Cameo status:

Aiyana Xanthe
Sieg Caosestic
Deren Sylblade

All due to dismal posting frequency, I'm afraid.  All  of them are welcome to rejoin the story if they are willing to commit to the writing.  Participation is extremely important, obviously, or PCs will be removed- as Severine has already demonstrated he is on top of this issue.

Another PC, Zeadon, seems to have dropped off the radar  (and out of the story) completely... I can't find his CD posted anywhere!  Ah well, such is life.

As for when and how to rejoin, Sieg, you'll have to take that up with Severine.  Its not my call.

Good luck,

Phiona

Anyways, you're welcome to come back Seig. Your cd is in the cameos section which it will stay for awhile. The story pace is starting to move a little faster now...so if ya wnna be in...you'll ahve to keep up. On if you're going to post, you'll have to do it under your cd name.

Posting as Cloud here.

Basically...the man is like the mafia. He's using the whole 'protection' front. the woman gives him cash in exchange for 'protection'. what she doesn't tell you is that it's protection from other soldiers who would want to have their way with the store. You see...there's a lot of dirty work beneath the whole military structure...well among the soldiers that is.

alright Ripp and Luca. I gave the two of you way to run into William. The two of you will be getting the easier way of getting to know one of the rebels...while Phiona and I on the other hand aren't. After leaving the store and the jailhouse, the two groups that are left will return to the inn. Ripp and Luca will probably arrive with William after both sides explain their situations (well William forcefully explains his situation...you see by easier i meant you two kinda set him up in the same way Phiona and I had set up Julia...but it works.lol). The group decides to use William as bait when they find out Sev and phiona has been captured by the other rebels. They decide to have a secret trade-off in the house of the brother of the blind sister who is a supporter and sorta acts as a spy for the rebels (he was the boy that was in a post of mine). I'm not going to use the kick out of the inn idea...well not yet anyways.

Feel free to make stuff up for the story- big or little.  If its something really cool and appropriate, Severine might take it and run with it.

Phiona: Good idea with the well. I'm thinking that's how we could meet the blind girl. Some of the kids from the village could have been messing with her and pushed her down the well by accident and decided out of fear to leave her there. That whisper could come from her. When you turn around and see the woman coming for you (she's actually going to approach you for questioning and has a dagger in her hand for protection) you kinda get caught off-guard and fall into the well. There, you'll see the girl. Just to tell you, she's small, but is around 13 years old with long blonde hair that goes down her back. You can have her wear a simple white dress if you want. and when I try to stop the woman, help is on the way for her faster than i thought. from the start, she knew that we was setting her up. so when a rope is dropped down for the both of you...even though its my voice...you find me with a blade to my throat and several other people waiting for you.

As for everyone else, I'm adding stuff to your scenarios to make it interesting for the rest of you so everyone will be getting "laid" today (by "laid" i mean action...heh...an inside joke between a friend and me. but who knows...later in the story...we do end up in a brothel...and if i'm not correct two good-looking males are going there for 'undercover work'...uh-oh i said too much!!!)

Ok. Posted.

And it only took me three edits to get it right.  Whoo hoo!  :pet

Severine:  I named the girl Maya.   Phiona only thinks the girl is 10 or 11 (you said she was small).   Also, I established the well is 16 or 17 ped deep (thats  48 or 51 feet deep) with the first 8-9 ped the shaft, and the rest being wider.  I did not establish how deep the water is, other than Phiona didn't touch the floor even after falling in.

There should be an undercurrent that keeps the well fed from an underground spring or  barring that, the water table rises during the wet-season and this fills the cistern.  Either way, it's very cold water.

And Dark Morpher?  You really need to talk to Severine about joining/rejoining.  Like I said before, it's not my call.  A little hint though, if you put more effort in your posts, it goes a long way for people noticing you.  Single sentence posts are easily ignored... even in OOC.  Sorry to break it to you that way.

Hmm. good question. well right now you can be at the pub. in your post just give a description on how you arrived and all. tierria and elra will go downstairs...and i'll tell ya the rest when i finally know what's going to happen with the rest of the characters. for now, just go with what happens. I suggest you read through chapter 2 to get a good general idea of what's going on.

Hey all (This is Sev posting as Tierria):

Dray- By looking at your posts in other stories, it looks like your an experienced rper. Hopefully, you can find a good way of entering the story before the big fight begins. If you need help, just ask.

Phiona- well you know kinda what your role is. For now Severine and Phiona is captured and will stay at Ceasar's until nightfall.

Luca- You'll be captured while following William, and will eventually join Severine and Phiona.

Elrararia- you and Tierria will drag along Penrith and Eryk through your posts until I can find a way to get their characters out. Most likely it will be after the chapter is over and whoever is still posting will be traveling with Severine and everyone else's profile will be put in the cameo's section.

alright having a bit of a problem....I been reading the posts (AND BTW i like what you guys are doing its really interesting to read) but it would take awhile to go all the way back for me to find a good way to enter...if i could get a summary of where we are and what is going on I could find a way to get myself into this pretty easily....heck if nothing else maybe Dray could have heard stories about the peoples small villages being attacked and he is just showing up to try and rectify things...thats something he would do show up without a direct plan to try and combat these bandits and raids.

I'm glad you came to me with this. I was going to have u talk with me through some online isntant messaging or something to throwback ideas. I was thinking that you could maybe even be friends with one of the rebels...like an old comrade and had recieved a message needing your services. How does that sound?

Phiona, I'm going to have Tierria be the one that gets captured. Luca could probably escape and they get Tierria insteade because julia had observed us and all and thinks that sev have an emotional attachment to phiona and tierria and sev would not double cross them if either are in danger. and tierria can't defend herself like severine can.

I just need a little more info about where we are and whats going on exactly... maybe you could come up with the letter for me...that way all the information I have comes from that letter which would be realistic since I don't really know anything :)

Hmm. Well Marmalan, these soldiers don't leave out everybody when it comes to visitors entering the village. They are only really suspicious when people come late at night or snoop around. Right now you can start off at the tavern...maybe you was hunting around the forest earlier and needed a place to stay? Right now Tierria and Elrararia are in the tavern. So if you needed to meet any characters it would most likely be those two. after meeting them, you could get into the story. Just follow my lead  ;)

As for you Dray, you can make up the comrade if you like looks and all. I'll just give a name. As for a letter, I'll send one to your e-mail and reply back if you like it. If so, then just use it in the story. How does that sound? that way, you'll play a good role in this chapter.

Alright Luca. When William gives the signal when he shows you to the 'herbalist' he'll lead you into an alley where no guards are around. A few men seem to come from nowhere (but they're actually not coming from 'nowhere') but you manage to escape (i trust what you know what to do with that situation...hehehe). when you finally find elra and the others to warn them what's going on, Tierria's already captured and everybody's on the ground...their butts kicked. but that part won't be posted until the fight happens of course!

Fun! Luca might be a little wary of William, especially if he is being way too nice. I mean, she spent her entire life around 6 year olds who carried hidden daggers and knew how to knock guys 4 times their size into comatose.

Can I take control over the NPC's (other than William) or do you want to control them?

Hey Elraralia,

The gazebo (and well) that Phiona and Severine were captured in is located beyond an orchard, on the way to the barracks, not in the middle of the village square.  Just so you know... it's quite a hike from the 5 buildings which are the central part of the village.

Phiona

PS:  Guys, its a small village.  There are no alleys.

Phiona, the rebels are going to separeate you and sev, and place u two in different rooms. you might wanna put that if you're planning on posting. Sev can't, because he'll be unconscious.

Poor Shendar...getting hit upside the head all the time... :(

When Tierria's captured, she's placed in the same room as you. Both rooms are empty and has no windows. Two guards watch each room btw.

Well at this point, you can't really fight the men off. They did mention that they have Severine and Phiona. So if you were to hurt them...well u might trrigger some bad outcomes. Also, I was suppose to mention that in the bushes there is a sniper with a crossbow, but I forgot that part. But Tierria will leave willingly with the men. To me, Elra seems like the type to follow. But without them knowing of course. ;)

Another thing:

I've noticed that people were getting confused every so often. I must say, a large part of that is my fault. For the past few weeks school and work has been hectic on me, and instead of taking my time to figure out how to make things easier, I started to rush things such as posts and ideas. As of lately, I've slow down a bit to concetrate on the story. This is like my baby here, I wanna give this baby the nutrition and love and care is deserves.

As for the rebels, the thing is that even though they want their heads, they know that Severine and co. are skilled fighters. But the only reason why sev and co. were able to beat these guys was because: 1. Severine was in a near beserker mode because of his curse, thus increasing his physical power. Something these guys didn't expect.  2. We had Elra and the other two elves help us out. 3. We got lucky. 4. Either that, or we're just that damn good.lol

The Freedom Hawks need more people and more skilled warriors. They'll do whatever they can to destroy the legion. If that means bribing and setting up the enemy to join their ranks...they'll do it. After all...they did kill over or near THIRTY guys.lol They figured Severine is the leader of those who killed their men. They know if that the leader switch sides...his followers will as well. They know that Tierria has some kind personal relationship with the Shendar just by wathcing them. They know that there's a chance sev will give in if they threaten Tierria's life as well as the life of Phiona who Julia saw kiss our dear main character.

There's either two ways we're gonna fight with them at the fortress: forced or willingly. Forced because of Severine making the decision based on whether Tierria lives or not...or willingly because the rebels believed our story.

And the point of balance is on that last bit.  It is a crucial matter which will alter the story drastically by whichever way the story tilts.

Not meaning to put it all on you, Dray, but your next post will determine our destiny.  LOL.  Seems that you have been thrust into the role of the negotiator.    :thumbup

A couple comments regarding your post, Sable:

1) Sheran is a tiny village, not a city.

2) Did Severine already ok the tie-in to his character, Tierria?

Other than that, I think your entrance was fine (I am always a big fan of posts which are longer than two sentences).

Welcome to the game.

Well, Dray, thanks for the heads-up.

I think that Seveine established the cargo was weapons for Blackwine's troops (i.e. The Legion of Rage).  It could include armor too.  I should add that none of the core caravan guards (i.e. PCs) that Voltaire hired were told what the cargo consisted of.

Phiona thought the cargo was regular goods that merchants transport- cloth bolts, food stuffs, etc.  Actually, she never questioned what the cargo was until this day, when they all discussed it in the inn.

PS:  Severine!  Where are you?

Hey Sev, you thought up a way for me to join yet?  If so give me a buzz, I check back here daily.  I probably would've thought up a way on my own by now but work is kind of hectic right now.  Gotta run, later.

erm... Luca, I have just posted I get near Elraralia and Fflewdur so you can't just get there and tap her on the shoulder! Supposedly she's about to kill me because of the surprise, I think :P

Yeah, that is right!

Fflewder and Elraralia (and Luca) you all need to look about 12 posts up from Luca's last post.  Sable did approached you guys first.

It's very important that everyone read all posts since their last one- before posting- just to be sure you have all the info right.  Even if you think a post isn't about or to your PC, you should read it anyway.  You never know if you were referenced in a post, otherwise....

Just makes the game flow smoother.

Yii! Sorry...I usually read all posts a few times over before I make any posts, but for some reason I just overlooked that one. I edited mine but I didn't see anything about Elraralia going to attack Sable. I must have been reading it at school. My history teacher isn't a fan of me using the computers for non-boring things so I have to act all sneaky .

Wait...now I'm confused...as usual.:confused

Where does it say I'm going to attack anyone?  Grant it...that is what I might do...but I'm still lost.   And if I am attacking someone...I guess I'll be redoing my post

Once again...I am oh so confused...:confused

Where on earth does it say anything about me attacking anyone?   As usual, I probably missed something, but this is definitly new as I have now missed something I have written...I am crazier than I thought

Title: OOC 2
Post by: Sable on November 24, 2003, 02:25:22 AM
ufff sorry I better explain that... That "attack" wasn't something right in the story, so it's my mistake for confusing you. I just tried to say... well, think about that: You are sneaking to the house where your friend is kidnapped and right then someone appears at you back speaking about her... a "normal" reaction would be turning back and attack me :P

*You see Sable begging for pardon : o :o  :o

Well, please read this before writing something else in the story: I think the best way to do this is if elraralia looks at the window, sees how many are there, tell that to us and then make a plan (even if something as simple as "you and you enter by the window, we use the door. kill them all, take Tierria and run, run írun!" :p )

and, by the way, how many of them are inside the house?

keep up the good work. I can advance with Tierria in the story, but I'll need for Dray to post if the main character is to move the story along.

:fish      Heads up, Elraralia, neither of the back rooms have a window, per Severine's first post of when Phiona was taken back there.

Additionally, the house was supposed to be a small one, almost a cottage, so if you are looking through a window from the roof, it must be similar to a skylight (i.e. a window in the roof itself).  :thumbup
