Title: OOC:The High Elven Circle
Post by: Ta'lia of the Seven Jewels on October 28, 2005, 05:12:22 AM
I posted our way to the Elven circle, so that you can post already, please add now just your thoughts or start a small conversation with each other like I did with Capher. I'm writing on as much as I'm able to and will take what I have with me to Vienna, so that I can post it there as well (If you don't know yet, I'm visiting with my daughter Johanna Art for a few days, Sat-Wed).

Just to bring back to our memories: Terra and Teri are already interrogated by some elves, not so Capher , Talia and Ta'las. The Leias however will want to hear from everybody again, what they know. So prepare yourself ;)  (you may copy/paste)

Garrek - I doubt that you will be able to listen what happens there - they have means to protect themselves from guys like you! Just in case you got that idea! ;)

We can post parallel in the old thread as well!

Oh, I was well aware of that, and had accounted for them not letting Garrek close enough to hear; had a way around it, too.

A scribe. A simple elf, hired for what he sees as the unoffensive purpose of capturing not the entire session, but primarily introductions, and that too from primarily certain people.

There would, of course, be problems with this as well...

Of course I have nothing against you personally, but I'm afraid I've told you more than is safe...

I am working yet again, at a better job, however this also means I don't have the excessive free time I had for a while. My posting may be slower, but I will certainly try and keep up. It should not be hard.

Hey Terra congrats on the new job.  I am just going to post that I see the darkness and then I just repair the masks without really describing them, except in the briefest of terms.

Talia, hope you had a nice visit.

Yes - sorry, I'm here, I just kindof got lost. I was going to post several times, but I always end up too tired or something. I just need to quit making excuses.

EDIT: Well, I posted it. I hope it's any good. I wrote out half of it in my sleep.

ok, posted!

A new problem arose, which I had not foreseen. Capher knows, that the  anvil is in the Prominent mountains, so there is no need anymore to ask the dwarves of the Rimmerings Ring (or whereever the nearest are), where it could be. Has anyone an idea, how we could get there - maybe seeking out a guide? Does anyone know, if Gar is doing or has done his dwarven char?

Should we still head for the vale of the Brownies with no brownie char?
Or should we head directly to the next port - with Eden/Luca as a guide provided by the elfes?

Will ask him.

Talia,

I'm not sure.  I think the best way to answer is to know how quickly you need healing.  If the elves feel you are in peril if we don't go straight to the Vale of the Brownies, then I suggest we go there.  Given the nature and power of the demon Talia confronted, I would guess that it is crucial to see the brownies sooner rather than later.

I think we can still have Eden or Gar's dwarven character (I don't know if he has even started working on this character, so Eden might be a more appropriate choice right now) join at this point, if whomever joins is in Aer'ylferian.

Well Capher, I do hope that this is mearly a flare-up and not perminent. Take your time and get as well as you can, even if you can't get well enough to keep post, though we would all miss you.

As for the plot direction, I think Ta'las's direction of thinking is the most valid. I would think that Terra could help some given her experiances, but such an aid would not deal with the damage to Talia's mind, it would just help her work around it.

Hm, ok, then let us go to the vale of the brownies. it would be of course great, if we had a brownie guest char. I will ask Luca if she could send her milken brownie to a visit into the vale.

I will post an answer for Capher, or does anybody else wants to do it?

I'm not sure - but do we know, that Talia's sword is the Sword of Fury? If not, I have to edit my post.

Or does  Capher only believe, that Talia's sword is the one he needs? I know, Capher always talked about that, but my sword doesn't have the properties of it. Maybe we all think (after Capher tells it), that it is the right one, but it is not, and we need to get it in another way? Maybe one other member carries it?

just writing on a post.

Capher did have using your sword in mind - maybe with the addition of the Heart it gains the necessary properties. Feasible? And I'm going to post for both 'Teri and Garrek in one post. It can be rather confusing, but I like the interlaced sequence idea.

Hey guys/gals I shall answer your questions as soon as I can.  I am still not up to par, yet.  Going to go see the doctor on the 15th.  Hopefully something can be done.  I have at least most of my finger function back and my cognitive abilitites are slowly returning. You do not know how long it took for me to write this: I think Caelereth was formed faster.:rollin

Take Care.

BTW, Talia your explanation to Terra about the Daughter of Sophronia, was ok, and will suffice for now, but I will explain more to her when I am better.

Capher, glad to see you back... it must be terrible to be in such a state were you can't use all your usual abilities. Sometimes, very rarely though, I have a migraine where I loose my ability to speak somehow - I   just can't express myself, form a sentence, some words have lost their meaning for me. But at least I know in this situation, that after an hour or so it will be gone. But then I imagine a time, where one might be permanent in such a state...

Teri, your post is cool, one thing I would appreciate though - if you use more colours, especialy not white for Teri and Garrek - maybe similar though different ones for each person?

Just have a look at this link
maybe you find colours which suit you!

Of course you are, you are still in Geaf'something recovering, Teri had to leave you alone for the Leias called all to meet the High Elven Circle.
Being now part of the group, she surely wants to see you as well. So say goodbye to your nice elven healer maids and join the party! If you think you are not so much part of the party yet - you could meet Garrek - but that is just a proposal and with Teri's internetproblems.. your choice.

You've just been gone waaay too long.:hug

Oh, by the way, I hope you don't mind if I left Morcaanan with a few minor technical difficulties: Just recovering from a high fever. I figured it made sense, because he's hurt, his immune system is facing a serious setback, and then the fact that Aueniteri's been just a little extra busy trying to look out for herself - which proved to be an unnecessary measure. So, yeah. Maybe she left you a note or something with one of the locals, possibly a healer maid, and went on ahead.

As for meeting Garrek - that would be an interesting twist, not to mention give him something to do while the rest of us are holed up in the Elven Circle. And then like the rest, you'd have met him before you knew who he was. And possibly get there just late enough that you never actually find out.

- about internet problems: False Alarm! ^^; For some reason, the ISP wasn't accepting our password on our dial-up. It's all better now.

I'm still looking for a better connection. I wouldn't miss Morcaanan's return for anything. ^_^

LOL  Anyway to make things short.  I now have a full time nurse and doctor told her to limit my internet time until I get better.  And she means it! lol  So hopefully after I reread the threads I can catch up and be able to post as soon as I can, probably tomorrow as I am supposed to be resting after another shot of drugs.  I feel like a pin cushion, not only with drugs being given but blood being taken out at the same time. Hi everyone,

This is just a bit of a heads up.  I'm going to be away in December for a week - Dec 10th to Dec 15th - and I will not have internet access.  I'll be around until the 9th and back on the 16th.

Title: Re: OOC:The High Elven Circle

Thanks for the heads up, Ta'las. I assume we can puppet your character if need be?

speaking of heads up.  I suppose this is as good as a time as any.  I have to move. My insurance will not cover a full time nurse for long so I have to go to an "assited living place" which is an apartment, where though I will have my own space, I can have a nurse available at my beck and call, by just pulling on a cord or pushing a button.  The cost of living in such apartments is quite high.  But that all aside, as far as to what will matter here is that I will have to out of touch until I move, get back internet access, and so forth and so on.  I am told I have to move by the end of the year, but with packing and stuff to do, I may have to stop internet access probably about the time Ta'las returns.

I know this puts another pause in the game but it cannot be helped and I am really really angry.  I just got set up in this apartment, I like my neighbors and everything and now I have to leave.  Oh well, such is life.  Anyway you have the heads up now, so do not be surprised if at anytime close to the middle of December I disappear.  I promise to be back as soon as I can.

Thanks Ta'las I will try.  BTW here in the U.S. it is the Thanksgiving holiday on Thurs.  This will be my last post until next Mon.  Everyone in the States, have a nice Thanksgiving and for the rest of you have a great weekend.  And guess what, we had our first snowfall, this year where I live.  It looks nice. I always liked the first snowfall of the year, it seems to make everything so white and clean, takes away the dirt and grime of the city and makes the country, so...pristine and picturesque.  Reminds me of an old Rockwell painting.

Anyway HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Hi all, sorry for my  absence - but I had to fight some fatigue which caused me not to switch on my comp at all - which has not happened to me before... :speechless

Please don't refer to my sword anymore till I have changed the description - we don't have angels here and I have  to change this. I still had it so long out of a bit of sentimentality - the description of the sword is actually not written by me, but by a fellow Utopian player who gave it to Talia back then. (when I didn't know that Santharia existed!)

I will probably change it to a figure with wings though - it might then be looking like one of the flying race of Aeruillin - I finally made up my mind to find my heritage down there somewhere, so I have not figured out details yet - that will have to wait...no proper CD till then!

Capher, out of these reasons (and others) my sword cannot be the Sword of Fury. It has other properties and frankly - I don't want to have it as my sword, for my sword is attached to me and my history and person and not only while I'm playing in Thalambath's heart. I want to have it afterwards as well. But that doesn't mean, that Capher cannot strongly belief, that it is this sword. It could be an interesting twist, when he finds out, that it is the wrong sword. The sword of Fury could then be found elsewhere - or one of the other group members carries it - not knowing it as well.  I doubt it will be Terras, but it could be Morcanaans or Teri's - if they agree (and stay long enough :b  ) or of any other char we might take in  - or of an NPC we invent.

I would like to know, where we should go after the Quallian. with no brownie at hand, the Vale of the Brownies is not a must. Maybe we visit the dwarves in the Rimerings Ring? Or the great library in Santhala? through the Anaias (?) gap? When should we get the heart back? and the sword? The elves can send us away, telling us, that the heart will follow us anyway? (I can make up something)

I need to know it soon, for the elves have to come to a conclusion and  give us some advice where to go...

And after that I would like someone of you to invent some (small) interesting encounters on the way.... (Garrek will be surely helful)

Are there now any other chars than Eden we want to take in ?

Talia's sword should be returned before we leave the Quallian.

The red elf isn't used to such a blade, and it would be problematic for him to battle with it. If the group does not leave immediately, but stays somewhere in the Quallian for that day, he will catch up with them, and attempt to take Garrek up on his offer, imposing himself on 'Teri. This is bound to raise some ire, I'm thinking, and a short conflict might ensue. Because of his unfamiliarity with a blade of those dimensions, it could quite easily be drawn from him by anyone who wields a blade. This could be Terra or Morcaanan.

As for 'Teri's blade, it is of elven make - I don't know how well that suits your purpose, Capher. It is constructed more for show and parade, as Aueniteri sees it, rather than combat, but is a weapon nonetheless.

Talia, the hilt can still be of a fictiononal winged being. ;)  You may notice when Terra first described it to the Hight Circle she described it as such. As you said angels do not exist, at least not in a physical or mythical sense, but who is to say a winged being such as your hilt does not exist in less known fiction?

Talia, I like the idea that Capher believes that Talia's sword is the Sword of Fury, but finds out later that it is not.  I think that none of the group carries it, but we find it later on.

As far as what the elves tell us, I think the best thing is for them to tell us to go to the rimmerings and find Eden. But first we need to get your sword back and I think Teri's idea is a feasable one.

As far as Garrek and the Heart.  I am sure he will follow, curiousity and eventually, maybe inside the Prominent mountains, he has to become part of the group, just to stay alive, and gives up the Heart to do so.  It is just a working idea in my head, not made in stone.

I also would like to pursue maybe some conflict between Teri, Morcaanan and maybe a relationship between Ta'las and Talia. :shrugs: just thinking.  I will also make sure there are plenty of things to do as we go along.  Eckra, will make sure of that as well as Garrek, I assume.

I think the dreams of Siroled should be cryptic enough to make Capher think that Talia's sword is not the Sword of Fury, that the future of one or several of the members are not certain, death, loss, losing one's way, even victory or defeat and dreams answered.  However the dreams do not tell whether it is physical or emotional, or spiritual...etc.  I think you have the idea Talia.

Again these are just ideas, if you have better ones or want to expand on the ones I have thrown out or if the others have some ideas then lets hear them and then decided which one(s) are the best to follow.

Ok enough from me. Besides I will be off the air in just a week or so and will probably not be back on again until right before Christmas, then with the holidays, I am going to assume that posting that will be sporadic, so things do not really get into gear until after the first of the year.

Morcaanan, did I give you a hard time? lol

Well, you all have now a day or two do visit the town (it is not big, read the description!) , Talia will porbably sleep to catch up - this interview was tired. Up to you to fill the next day.

I need to know, if we have m sword back before the elven circle meets agin and tells us what we need to know. sirlad has to write down her vision! ;)

and: Vale of the brownies or Santhala?

Talia,

From what 'Teri said, it sounds as if you might have your sword back as we will remain in the Quallian another day before we leave.  This is going with the sub-plot that she and possibly Jeharaid or Terra (or even Ta'las for that matter, but just someone skilled with a weapon) encounters the elf who currently has the weapon.

@Teri - you are still thinking about having the elf attempt to accost Teri, correct?  If this is the case, then my thinking is she will likely be with Jeharaid.  If I'm wrong, please disregard this comment.

Our need to visit the Vale of the Brownies was to heal Talia - and that purpose doesn't seem to have changed.  Unless the elves are able to provide an alternate location we can visit to heal Talia, or the elves feel that a visit to the Vale is too dangerous without a brownie in the group, I would suggest that we should still consider going there.

If you wish you can puppet Capher anyway you please.

I am not sure when I will be back online, I am hoping by the 19th, but if not then have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Sorry! I'm kindof waiting on Morcaanan; don't want to get out of sync with him, as he's an integral part of what I have planned. Still, I could make a short post as Garrek, but it wouldn't be much progress.

Morcaanan, if he's still around, could probably post his retiring to rest and the passage of time, hopefully after he answers my question; then I'll follow with an equal passage of time on 'Teri's part, after which we can get into the action.

Hi all, I just wanted to let you all know I am not fully back.  I have not yet been hooked up to the "net"  with the holiday's, there are a lot of backups for installation and I needed approval not only from the nurses, but also from my doc to be on the "net".  I hope they do not limit me.  But if they do I will find time to post.

In the meantime Talia or anyone can freely puppet Capher.  I will catch up when I can.

In case I do not get back to the library before Christmas I just wanted to say: Merry Christmas everyone and I hope you all have a joyous and blessed time with friends and family.

I am more or less waiting on Talia's reponse. The slowness does not bother me much as my insperation for playing Terra is dropping near zero. I just want her to finish the story so she can disapear into time for a while before I bring her back in a much older for as a lead character in a new story.

Oh, and BTW, Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Years.

Sorry to hear that Terra, but on the other hand I hope your other story goes well.

I think I may have been able to jump start this story again. but who knows.  Morcaanan needs to be around.  I am very very sorry.  I know because of my frequent absences that this story stalled.  Maybe we should take a vote and see if we should end this story for good.

Since we lost the Heart and Talia's sword the elves could tell us that the land will enter into a "dark age" and will remain so until another "Hero" comes along.  We all say our good-byes and head back toward our own countries and lands.  Capher then turns back into a dragon and is not seen again for a very very long time.  Ethan Hawke, the Wizard of the White Tower remains imprisoned in his tower until this new "Hero" comes along.  Well that would be a good ending to this story.  What do you all think?  Do we continue on as Capher has proposed in the storyline?  Or do we hear the bad news from the elves and go our seperate ways?  Majority rules.

Capher.

@Terra:

Terra, sorry, I didn't realise that you were waiting for an answer of me.
I think, you just need a small break as well to get new ideas about your young Terra - or are you just tired of this story as well?
I thought once we are out of the Quallian, which we will be soon, and with a new part of the story we will have new ideas - though I hoped, one of you would take the lead for a while.

************

For your proposal to end the story soon - I must say, I'm disappointed. I put so much effort and time into it to keep it running, especially in the last time, before Christmas stress, a lot of family duties etc and other RL issues, dev-board responsibilities and pure exhaustion of my body (which the doctor couldn't explain and forced me to lie down instead of spending recreation time before the comp) didn't allow me to do as much for the heart as before. I just wanted to do a last post and then leave you alone to find the sword till I have to be back for the last elven meeting.(preparing this part meanwhile)

I can't of course go on with the story without you - but it would be a pity to end the longest running story like this - the problem and task not solved. And what I have half prepared for the last elven circle would have been in vain then as well. It is not much, but I have put a lot of thought into it whenever I had some free time , waiting somewhere..

Capher -  Talia is not yet back in the quarters - as I said above, I will go to my aj, sleep there and leave you to search for the sword.

Btw, the Leias told us, when there will be the next meeting...

Capher, I don't know how to post now - I think I go on just as i had in mind, from where I am with my last post.

Well, we can hold  sthe story till the ninth when I'm fully back, so everybody has a rest without having to wait for the other - or you play on till the next evening when the elven circle meets again to give us advice.

I still very much want her to finish the story but posting for her is a lot harder, and a lot more concious though than it used to be or should be. I will be leaving Shadows at the end of the current chapter there for that very reason.

No! I don't want it to die, not after... that's just sad.

Talia - should I just improvise, go on without him? I'm sure I could come up with something, although what I have in mind - I kinda didn't want 'Teri to progress that fast. Still, if it brings up morale, which seems to be severely lacking in the players here, I'd do it.

Mortus, maybe you just have to find her back, allow her to grow as well and master her difficulties, ... no , that is not really what I wanted to say - find her back despite Luci , confront yourself with that problem and work your loss in, then you might find her back.Think about why you are so distant to her now? Youn put so much effort and work in her, don't allow yourself to loose her!

Teri, just puppet him! You know him by now a bit, maybe reread his CD which I posted in the CD description.

Maybe we should create a rule, that everybody who is away longer, even without notice and before a certain plot is finished where the player is in will be puppeted mercilessly ;)

We need new players!

Eden (Luca)=dwarven female (cleric) will join.

I think we do need a mage, now that Hajarian is gone. Is Gar around often enough and would he play his mage?

Erian has created a dwarf (cleric) as well, maybe this would be an interesting match with Eden...

I still would love another race as well - brownie?
(At least we should meet Lucas brownie in Milkengrad for a short time!)

However, I would not ask others before we are finally out of the Quallian.

Hi all,

I definitely will keep on with this story.  I realize I have invested less time in the story than everyone else, but I've definitely enjoyed it.

@'Teri - I agree with your sentiment.  I don't want this story to end either.  And as Talia suggested, I also think that you can puppet Morcaanan.

@Capher - don't despair.  We're going to finish writing this story!!

@Terra - Please try not to give up on your character.  I think she is interesting and complex, and she adds a unique aspect to the story.

@Talia - Keep heart!  We're not giving up (I guess I should just speak for myself :)    and I agree that we should try to get a mage and possibly a brownie character into the story.

I'm personally happy that Luca (well, Luca's dwarf)  is joining us.  I've spoken with her on IC, and she's very bright.

I read through Anwen's CD.  She is an interesting character, and I suspect with her writing ability she would be able to find a way to have her character fit into TH.

Talas,

I have no intention on giving up on her, even if my current insperation level for playing her is near zero. I do plan to excellerate her personal developement as that is about all I can do.

Talia,

Alas, I can not restablish the bond with Terra by reverting my self, as that would require reverting to a less healthy emotional state, I just can't allow myself to do that. As I stated in response to Talas, the best I can do is excellerate her developement and try to have her catch up, till then I will have to struggle to stay in character.

To all,

Sorry if my post are slow for a while, posting for Terra has become a struggle, and will likely be harder yet before it gets better, but I am determind that she will finish this story.

Hi all, hope you all had a great New Year?

I am not in despair. I just wanted to get a vote upon whether we continue on or not and since I see we have voted, YEAH!!! I would hope that the vote would be to continue.

The question on Capher's heart and has always been was that he was told that after some great deed he would be granted by the light elves and their queen that they would bestow upon him the gift he has always desired; to be human.

I think the brownie character and the dwarven character as well as Arwen's would be fresh blood to help deepen the story along.

I am willing to wait until the ninth.  And Talia, I would never, never, just give up upon your hard work you put into this story.  Your inspiration and dedication should be commended, as you kept this story going during my abcenses and I of all people know what RL can do to a person.

@Terra, I am uncertain who Luci is and why she is playing such an important role in Terra's Character, but I have faith in the person behind the Character and I know he will come up with something that will be fresh, exciting and new for Terra.

@ Terri, I think Talia's suggestion about puppetting those who are not around for at least two days is a good idea.  So puppet Morcaanan in whatever manner you choose and hopefully when and if he arrives, he will be able to follow what you have done.

@ Ta'las- Thank you my friend for your enthusiasm and fresh outlook upon TH.  I look forward to continuing on with the story and you.

Capher.

Terra, I was just beginning to get to know Luci when I left the board for personal reasons.  She was a very friendly and good RP player.  I only got to chat with her on the IRC channel only once before I left, but I liked her and her warmth and humor even came through the short chat we had.  I did not know that you and her had become so close.  I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but all I can say is that faith and time heals all wounds.

Maybe just talking about her with someone would help. I don't know, just suggesting something.  I like Talia's idea. How about you work on something like that and maybe we can implement it either into the story or even on the site, depending upon Art's approval.

Can I step out on a limb and say you seem depressed, Capher? I think any one of us could have made the mistake. ...

Hang on while we do everything we can to keep you with us, okay? If that means pointing out mistakes, waiting for weeks on end before you post again, hoping and praying you will return to us. I hope we don't seem impatient. I think I speak for all of us when I say we really, really enjoy having you with us, even with your situation. Think of it: Here's a what, forty, fifty-year-old with multiple sclerosis, spending his time, lending his talents and sharing his wisdom with us who are as of a general rule between fifteen to twenty-one? With your problems, a lot of people are just letting it all go, while those around them try to tidy up and make a last few decisions... We're glad to have you with us, whatever it takes. :hug

On another note, as I always do when puppeting another player's reactions to and with my character, I made that last post very, very vague. I hope it is acceptable.

I have to ask you for your patience , for though I thought to go on with the elven circle today, I'm not in the mood to do so, having a slight headache and wanting to finish that robe story first - and have to do unwanted housework as well (*sigh* - nobody of you who wants me to help with ironing etc?)

It would help me if you would post questions your char wants to ask the elven circle or Siroled! Take your chance, it will not come back! LOL

@Teri, go for it.  I don't think there is a man around who would not be flattered to have a girlfriend waiting for him when he returns. It would serve him right, disappearing like that.  BTW, are you going to answer me, my character that is?  Or maybe you already have, I have not read the main thread yet.

@Talia, I already wrote what the question would be for Capher, but if Siroled says that his wish would be granted, he must realize the consequences as well; which are that he would lose all of his magical powers.  He would be human but without the abilities he possess right now, for those abilities come from being a dragon.  It must be meant to be a very hard decision for him to make.

And sorry no time to help with ironing, I have to do my own wash and you had to remind me that it was growing.:p

Terra's questions will deal more with "Points of failure", in escence dangers and challenges they can not overcome and thus should avoid at all costs, knowing that Siroled can not predict a set future.

I really can't think of what 'Teri might ask. Sorry.

If not, what shall we do? I saved my long post and can repost it easily - try to write up all what is missing again or just going on?

Teri and others, this may be my fault.  I tried to move some things around in Voldar and accidently deleted the whole thread.  We asked Ezboard to see if it could be retreived and though we got most of it back, somethings are also missing.  I am afraid that because of that request I messed up all of the posts in all of the threads.  I juat hope this did not affect the Dev side of the board.  OOH, boy are people going to mad at me.

I am so sorry.

BTW Talia, I read your stories and I wrote a post for them here, but it seems to be MIA at the moment.  Maybe it will come back, maybe it won't.  Anyway I just wanted to say, I liked both of them; The Magic Robe of Leena(forgot her last name)  and True Love.

I don't blame you; ezBoard is buggy. That's just how it is. I do hope I end getting that post I wrote to Kalina back. In all honesty, if they try to "move some things around", they should be able to do that without... all this. Meh, I'm just rambling. Thanks for clarifying. I think I'm the luckiest out of us all here; I didn't really post much after this. My internet died. Like it still should be, but I keep... making things work out for me. Just have to be careful.

Looks good, but I think you need to go through and debug it a little. There is one place in particular where it's hard to tell where the dialogue ends and the narrative takes back up. A few other things like grammatical errors... just to make it easier at a glance. Other than that, everything's good. I'll post.... soon.

@Teri, no I thought it was great, it adds flavor to the story.

@Talia, I just thought of something, I have been doing things to your character that maybe you might not want to have happened.  I healed your scars and now gave back your hair.  Maybe you wanted the scars and the burnt hair.  If you did, then I will edit my post(s), if you do not care that I did this for you, then ok.  But I will in the future refrain myself at doing things to other characters without their express permission first.  Sorry.

Unfortunately I don't know a Llahor (?) brownie, but if we ever get to come to Milkengrad, we must meet Luca's Milken. He is the best brownie I ever saw.

For now, Luca will join soon, I think we will meet Eden in the vale - she could be the dwarf leading us to the Tethrinims (or however they are called)

Eternal Spring refers, either figuratively or literally, to something that comes from a source without end.

Or, wait. It could be a place wherein the first season of the year is perpetual, or the weather seems to be in the first season of the year regardless of the actual time. Would have to look at its context again.

Check for.... an even number of digits in the coloring code. Hexadecimal requires an even number of digits. Check for... another font edit, such as an italicization improperly nested... Yeah, it bugs me. Nesting is really picky here. [open italics] [open font edit] "Your text here" [close font edit] [close italics]

EDIT: There, that's the proper way. Somehow, it wasn't showing before. Of course, I know why. I didn't say "open" and "close" when I referred to "font". So... yeah.

Yes, for it is near - and the dwarves would be the next, just because they are on the way. However, if you read all the stuff above - we need to find the sword of fury first before we can go on to Milkengrad and sail norht - AND as long as Capher hasn't regained his strenght, we all live quite dangerous....
So Ta'las idea about looking out for information is surely not a bad one..

Well, that was all in '04. Is he still around now? '04 is about when I started; well, late '04. I know, because late '05 I had to renew my ezSupporter thingy. Hate it when they make me do that, although I guess it isn't really a huge expense. Just a buck a month, about, which is less than I pay for like food and stuff. Food and stuff can get expensive. Even if you're paying only five bucks a meal or something, and holding yourself to a meal or two a day, that's still ten bucks a day, and that's a lot more than a buck a month. Still, it depends on what you eat. I guess there's some foodstuffs you could get, and prepare, and thus have food for quite some time, like a bag of wheat. You could make bread. Bread is good. My mother makes bread, nice, big, thick loaves with a good, crisp crust. It's best when it's straight out of the oven, still hot. Then you can just load a slice up with butter, and eat it that way. That's soooo good. Better than toasted marshmallows, although I guess I really don't like toasted marshmallows anymore. They're just too much sugar, and I don't seem to be able to take that much sugar anymore. I guess my sugar tolerance is down, or something. Coincidentally, my stupidity tolerance is higher than most of the people I know. I wonder if that means anything. I guess...

He revamped his Zug-char resently and I remembered then, that he had this Zdoth-character as well. Currently he plays Vince (with elk and sheep!) in Twilight Party C (how informed admins are, I tell you ;) :lol  )

And he mailed me he has found his login again, but let us wait for Morcanaan some more time, I pitty for Teri..

We need to write out Morcanaan. I don't know how, for I want it to be done in a way, that he could rejoin at a later time (though he has to be nice or/and  a good reason why he left without notice).

Teri, could you do this? Maybe he just doesn't come with us out of any reason... he goes to search the heart on his own, without success though, misdirected or something like that.

You do wonderful long posts, Teri..

And now we could sooth each other - if we would know about it, for you were about as far in your relation with Morcanaan as I was with Koldar....

I thought about introducing Zdoth as a tracker who leads us to the vale of the brownies and should help us further on our way.. the elves will present him on the morning we leave...

And then we need to meet Eden as soon as posible in the vale..

I did a first post in the Valley thread, but we need some in the old thread as well - at least one where the Leias sends us away, where we loose Morcaanan and where the Leias pesents us Zdoth.

You could have a look at this link as well: Doimo

I say carry on - eager to get moving, I guess.

Ken agrees with me, but then, he's not in the party yet, and has a bit more reason to want the story to press on. I won't quote him here.
